Yes, I do know they have perfecly logical reason to not like the game....But what is there perfictly logical reason to come to bsn and complain about it every day?
That was my point.

Heck, people who lakethe game don't even constaly post it. The second we do, it's flooded with hate comments.

So no, it not a case of a pot calling the kettle black.

And everytime someone voices displeasure at the endings or the game in general, the same group of people flood the thread complaining about complainers. Whining about whiners. Instead of just avoiding the thread and ignoring it, they choose to complain about it. Every.single.thread. If you're so tired of seeing people complain, why bother reading and participating in the thread? Pot. Kettle. That was my point.

You're not even getting it....I'll give you an example....

I made this topic about a concept of a ME game duringthe 2 years Shepard was dead as a side story to the main plot.......And some of the main complaints about it was that they  did not like concept because of  the ending of ME3 ....Note, this topic has nothing to do with the ending of ME3 nor prasing it in anyway.....You can go into any topic and see this pop up.

This is not a case of the pot calling the kettle black.... You guy are just sitting here hating over the ending.Everywhere..

Does that make any sense to you?

Maybe that should tell you something, like that more people here and everywhere I've looked dislike the endings.  You keep calling it hating and you need to grow up.  This is a product we paid money for and it's like some batch of monkeys wrote an ending to it and told you it was intellectual.  You don't want to appear dumb so you agree with that, but intelligent people (not me) and actual published writers with some bona fides with which to speak have called it dreck.  You can call it hate all you want, but I'd sooner hate an inanimate object (a game) than spread the real hatred for real people that is often expressed by your ilk.

I just want to point out that the pro-enders are the ones who brought the ending into this discussion. This discussion was more centered around the overall quality of the game and the econmical things that have happened since release.

If people think the ending is the only problem, well, I don't know what to think. It's a terrible Mass Effect game and a very mediocre action shooter.

Lets see, based on the quality of the game overall, i would have still bought it mostly out of nostalgia and a need to finish the story. I would have waited however until the game dropped to around $20, like it is now on Amazon, $30 at most. I would definitely not have paid full price, that is the price I paid for buying at midnight the day it released. Didnt check to see if the game was worth the investment.

I wouldn't have pre-ordered a CE, no. I'd have waited several months for a bargain bin price.

No. Wouldn't buy it or get it even if it was for free.

It never was only about the endings for me-the endings just did provide clarity.  They made the rest of the story by and large to be clearly lacking in ME3.  There were great moments punctuated by contrivance and the player was set up for it at the very start.  It's all hopeless, impossible, so build this big question mark and it will work out for you.  I love it when people say it's a darker game, when I thought ME2 was much darker.  ME3 also features a lot more humor and humorous situations or just some downright ridiculous ones.  Females are blow up dolls with collagen and mammary augmentation oh and butt implants.  Vega is there to somewhat offset that I guess.  And the fetch quests are the most inane pieces of hilarity ever.  I'd rather scan for minerals ten times in ME2 or get caught in a nasty fractal in the Mako in ME1 then do those dumb things.  As if the fleets need to be found.  The whole of the story makes no sense, but it was almost forgivable, something that could be ignored largely if only the endings didn't provide clarity and speculation.

Partially I'd "unplay" me1 and 2...

But still ... then I wouldn't have hooked up with Tali *sniff...*

I actually found me3 to be a very good game until... Some of it was so damn good!

Now with all the latest dlc I'll give it my 3rd try on a replay (replayed me2 instead and went mp).

Yes. Ironically I started playing Mass Effect because I heard people complaining about ME3.

Yep, if it wasn't so good no one would give a damn. The ending of Skyrim is pathetic but no one cares because apparently people don't play Bethesda games for drama and story.

Yes, i'd still buy it, speaking of the endings i thought the original endings were okay but good with the Extended Cut. I'm planning to buy ME1 when it's released on PS3 as well.

I would absolutely buy it and would have start playing MP on day 1.

I have played 340+ hours of MP and maybe 10% of that in SP. So SP is negligible in comparison. the messed up ending no longer matters...

My only regret is that I only started playing MP in May -- missed out on 2 months of fun.

I'd probably have waited until the EC and the price drop, but I still would have bought it.

I wouldn't. But then again, I would plead with the owner of the time machine to send me back in time to the point where I had never even touched the Mass Effect series.

I'd still have ended up playing it to try and get some closure on the character i'd spent 2 games building.
i wouldn't have taken the day off, picked up my pre-order and played for 3 days straight. I'd still have come away disappointed but at least i'd have some extra change in my pocket and an extra days annual leave left.

Had I known the outcome when I per-ordered, I would have likely cancelled. The disappointment from the ending the the subsequent actions (or lack of) afterwards have not only hurt my opinion of the series but of gaming in general.

Maybe I'm just growing out of gaming, but it's been really hard to get psyched for any release since.

On a plus side, they've helped save me hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars in gaming as my monthly purchases have been very slim since March.
