Knowing what you know now, would you buy ME3?

I'd not have bought the CE. I'd most likely have waited for 6 months and then bought the game like I did with the first 2.

I would have cancelled my CE, checked youtube, waited a few weeks (the price fell quite quickly here) and then bought it. Knowing what to expect might have made the actual experience better - and I had read some of the spoilers!

(My dislike of ME3 isn't just about the endings - it also includes the amount of auto-dialogue and forced friendships. I had many Shepards waiting to import into 3 but they will never see the light of day because they are at odds with the devs' idea of how Shepard would react.)

Of course. I bought it a week after launch, and I'm still playing it every night. Why would I not?

No I would not, generally in my opinion its the weakest game of the trilogy.

ME3 is one of only five games I picked up at launch this year and I dont regret doing so. Given the ending debacle however, I will not be supporting the IP with my money going forwards.

One of two games for me.  The other being Diablo 3

It has not been a good year for me...:(

Ooooo, ouch! ME3 aside, I've not too many complaints: Legend of Grimrock, Faster than Light, Torchlight 2 and X-Com have provided plenty in the way of gaming fun for me this year. Heck, I enjoyed ME3 for the most part.

If I had known beforehand, I would have avoided the entire trilogy.

I loved Mass Effect but ME3 destroyed everything.

probably the standard edition but definately not the CE.

Also I didn't even bother with leviathan dlc and prob won't even play the coming omega dlc.

Mass Effect 1 & 2 for me were awesome and definately worth the time and money spent.

ME3 before the ending fix it sucked. With ending fix doesn't suck as much. Multiplayer was fun for a while then gets boring.

If there isn't going to be a big phat juicy awesome DLC continuing after the Shepard gasp of air scene, then I more then likely will never return to play Mass Effect3.

Besides I don't see any DLC talk over the past few months that hints at anything where Shepard is able to reunite with Miranda so IMO ME3 is done.

No, I'd cancel my pre-order. My reasons are 1- Because I can't import my character face from ME2 it doesn't feel to me like the last chapter of my characters story. 2- Because the choices I made in the first two games have little to no impact, despite claims they would - some choices, such as who is the earth counsellor, are ignored entirely if you choose Anderson. 3- Even if 2&3 didn't exist it's a very poor conclusion to the overall story. I don't play ME3 any more tbh for the first two reasons, and have no interest in its dlc or a ME4.

No. Still can't believe I forked out $150 for this piece of crap.

Is that $150 USD? How'd you manage that? Or do you mean the whole trilogy? In that case, isn't it three pieces of crap?

Based on the nametag, I'm guessing that KiwiQuiche might be located somewhere near my region (Australia).

Prices on games in general down here are absurd.  I payed $130 for my Collector's Edition (on sale); and given that our currency was at relative parity with the US at the time we seemed (and still seem) to be getting hosed.

Yes, I'm from New Zealand and it cost $150 to preorder the Collectors Edition. Which I stupidly did.

I would gladly pay $60 on day one every single time if all games were like ME3.

Why wouldn't I buy the best best game of 2012? It's worth every penny and can't wait for more DLC.

I would cancel my pre-order and buy a year later. Just so the set is complete.

Those who say no and are still here on BSN 8 months after the fact everyday constantly talking about it are liars

And they clog up the forums with their negativity.

And then the cheerleaders come in and whine at us expressing our opinion, which is our right as PAYING customers.

You know if i order a sandwhich and ask for no onions and get onions, It's annoying and I might even say something, but I'm not gonna go back to the place everday to crap on them for it. You can't convince me that after 8 months of complaining you're still not on the hook for this series and would of never bought it or buy the inevitable sequel.  You're lying if say otherwise. I dare any of you to delete your account and step away. You can't. You're obsessed. Bioware knows it and they know they really dont have to work that hard to please you. A bunch of angry internet jockeys arent scary. Only when their profits start to hurt will people get their way and from the money they're making from MP and the fact Leviathan sold very well, it doesnt seem like nothing needs changing from a bussiness standpoint.

Nope, I might pop over to a friends and break down and play it on a lowest common denominator device like the 360.
