Yeah, I know there's other threads on this.  Frankly, don't care.

I've had this problem for a while now, and really it didn't bother me since I could just play offline since all my DLC's were already verified.  I just bought the new weapons pack, and for 2 days now I've been trying to get connected to have it verified so I could actually play my game.  It didn't bother me before, but now I have an issue when I can't have access to something that I've purchased with my own money.

It used to work perfectly where I'd connect right off the bat, then it went to connecting occasionally, and now I just can't connect at all.  I figure the more threads that are made about it, maybe SOMEONE will finally take notice and do something about it.

The connection speed for me is complete trash, similar to you its been getting worse with time, hopefully this gets fixed before I cannot connect at all.

It's happening to me, too. It's awful, because I can't play THE GAME I PAID FOR even in single-player.

I've had the same problem for two weeks now, and so have a lot of people.

Really wish EA or Bioware would acknowledge it, or something...

Been trying off and on most the day. Still nothing. Going to bed sorely disappointed.

I would at least like to hear an acknowledgement that a problem exists so I know that I might actually be able to play my game in SINGLE PLAYER again. I'm a paying customer, EA, I don't need your garbage heap of a server checking if I'm a criminal every time I try to play.

Woke up, tried again. Still no dice.

God forbid that I'm allowed to play a game I paid for on my day off.

When ME3 was launched, few people had connection troubles. With the launch for the first DLC, though, things got worse. Been unable to connect to EA servers in ME3 for several days, and yes, every trick in the book has been tried, tickets filed to EA Help, etc.

Just went through the long and arduous process of uninstalling and reinstalling both origin and ME3.

Nothing. Nada.

This is getting ridiculous. I've been a huge fan of the Mass Effect series since game 1, but this is discouraging me from ever buying anything Bioware again.

4 hours later, tried again. Nothing.

That's a full day off that I couldn't play my game. Can't do it in offline mode either, because the DLC that I have purchased has never been verified online because THE DAMN SERVER WON'T CONNECT.

Another day without access to even the single player portion of my game.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm absolutely livid. My one day off this week and I can't enjoy the game that I've spent a good sum of money to have EVERY DLC, and EA's piece of trash servers won't even let me enjoy single player. I've gone through every troubleshooting guide, from deleting files to forwarding ports, none of which made any difference whatsoever.

Fix your **** EA. At least ACKNOWLEDGE that something is wrong so that the other players with this problem don't think you're just flat out ignoring us.

EDIT: I know I'm probably wasting my time bumping this thread too, since I don't see a SINGLE moderator response here.

I feel your pain, man :(

I'm just about to give up on this game forever...

Giving up trying today. Still no moderator response.

I know that this forum is mostly for players to help eachother, but it DOES mention that moderators will assist when and if they are on. Are they ever on? EVER?! And EA support is worthless.

I'm just gonna keep bumping until I get some kind of acknowledgement that there's a problem. This isn't an isolated incident, there's a LOT of players suffering from this.

Just wondering, has anyone of you guys tried to contact EA customer support about this ? And did anyone actually get an answer ? I send a request more than a week ago and didn't get any response so far, despite reinquiring two times already ? I am really getting frustrated by this !

On the other hand I consider myself kind of lucky because I can at least connect every once in a while. During the last week I could connect almost every day at one time. But still, this is kind of unacceptlable....

You are lucky.  I've yet to be able to connect since I made this thread.

I sent an email, no response.  I'm not expecting one either, since the only mod responding in the EA tech help forums is some guy from China.

Yeah, having this issue as well. Currently chatting with EA tech support, but I doubt they can tell me anyhting that'll help. I think my problems started at about the same time as yours... Yea would be nice to be able to finish the damn game but no, you must be online to play singleplayer...

You can play singleplayer offline. You only have ti unplug your PC from the Internet (pull the LAN Cable/Disable WLAN) before starting Origin and the game. If you were able to authenticate the DLC's at some earlier point you then can play the singleplayer without problems. It is annoying as sh*t but better than not being able to play at all.

This off course only helps the people who want to play the singleplayer.....

See, there's my problem.  I purchased the new weapons pack, and now I can't connect at all so they will not appear in game.

Did some digging today - found something interesting on my U-Verse connection:
Host Name IP Address Hop Ping Time Ping Avg % Loss Pkts r/s Ping best/worst
homeportal 192.168.1.254 1 0ms 0ms 0% 20 / 20 0ms / 1ms
x-x-x.lightspeed.xxxxxx.sbcglx.x.x.x 2 24ms 29ms 0% 20 / 20 23ms / 51ms
* Unknown Host * 0.0.0.0 3 0ms
* Unknown Host * 0.0.0.0 4 0ms
* Unknown Host * 0.0.0.0 5 0ms
* Unknown Host * 12.83.43.9 6 27ms 100% 0 / 20
gar2.ascva.ip.att.net 12.122.134.117 7 49ms 100% 0 / 19
* Unknown Host * 0.0.0.0 8 0ms
fert07-eqx-iad.ea.com 159.153.224.226 9 50ms 100% 0 / 19
meav5-pub.pt.iad.ea.com 159.153.226.105 10 49ms 100% 0 / 19

It would seem that all my packets to easo.ea.com (the game gateway) are being stuffed out before they exit the AT&T network - at 12.83.43.9 6.

Of course, AT&T tier one support is massive stupid and wouldn't forward this info to their engineering group. They wanted me to pay a fee-based support division to possibly fix their stupid network.The supervisor I asked to speak to kept rambling on about HTTPS and firewall ports, and absolutely refused to let me speak to someone who might be able to look at it.  I already have scheduled an appointment to switch my  service provider Monday due to their attitude*

How many people experiencing this issue are U-Verse customers? How many aren't? I'm just curious if it's a U-Verse problem - if it is, good luck to you, because tier one will not pass you to anyone with a clue to even investigate the possibility that it's an issue.

* perhaps it isn't even the root problem, but to not even look at it, but instead try to pass me off to some division that wants $$$? Screw that - their indifference is why I'm giving up on them as a provider.

I did this tracing as well and it looked fairly similar to me. (It was mentioned in the german support forum) But I am in germany and have a german ISP, and had that ISP forever and it worked just fine until about three weeks ago. I don't think it is related to the ISP....

I just had a live chat session with the EA support, they could not help me but they forwarded it to the "higher tier" support and I will be contacted within the next week or so. I'll let you know if anthing new happens

Ah, OK - like I said, my issue might not have even been the root of the problem, but it was their stubborn insistence of not even just sending it to someone who could say "nope - it's fine."

I also have a promise to hear from higher tier support with EA - I'm not holding my breath, but if I hear something I'll post it along here.

Well, at least I know I'm not the only one having this problem. I can't really believe that THE me3 server is unavailable. I mean, if there is more than one server, can't EA bounce me to the next working one? If there is only one, do you mean to tell me no one in the world is playing me3 right now? Ridiculous.
