A month without a single successful connection to ME3 Server.............i start to get irritated as a customer. Won't be purchasing anything from EA if this is not fixed asap. The Answer HQ is full of threads on this specific issue and none i repeat NONE of them is solved. All the threads here are practically ignored by BW, emails sent at Help service are without answer for almost a week....will someone inside Eaware admits that we have a connectivity problem here????

 Day 4.

Tried again, no dice.  Already exhausted all troubleshooting options that I've seen.  I'm not gonna waste my efforts in trying to fix it either.

Still waiting for a response.

Tried again before bed.  Still nothing, and still no responses.

I guess I'm not gonna get to participate in Operation Bloodlust.  Thanks a lot.

I'm trying every media avenue on this that I know of to get this out there - forums, Facebook, Twiter, EA Support etc. Can't see how they can keep selling DLC which can't be played.

Go here and add your voice answers.ea.com/t5/Mass-Effect-3/Mass-Effect-Server-is-Unavailable-Really/m-p/127594#U127594

Tried this.  No dice.

5 days now, still unable to connect.  And still not a word from Bioware OR EA.

I see this in the log file:
OriginServiceResponse QNetworkReply error code [301] HTTP status code [503] https://loginregistr...on/authenticate
...
Failed with REST error code -1
...
GLOB_OPR_IS_INTERNET_REACHABLE set to false, now offline, new state: RequiredUpdatePending=false,SimulateInternetReachable=true,UserManualOffline=false,InternetReachable=false,ComputerAwake=true,SingleLoginCheckOK=false

I think it is safe to assume there is something wrong with their servers!

This is really pissing me off. Pretty busy and don't have much time to play games anymore, and when I finally get some free time, I find out I can't play the game I paid for. Kinda ridiculous. I was really looking forwards to getting back into the MP too.

Tried absolutely everything with EA support. I think we can all assume that this is an error on their end.

So I got tired of it and disconnect my wlan to play some ME3 without the new DLC, only to have origin errors cause my game to freeze.

Sick of this, EA.

Got my issue resolved! Yay! ^.^v
I was having the dreaded "Redeem/Buy Online Pass" issue.
Was finally moved up to the "Specialist" queue, and for some reason my Origin account had 5 unique instances of the N7 Digital Deluxe Edition registered to it, as well as two instances of the demo.
The support person went in and cleaned all that up. He re-added a key to my profile, and now everything works - and I didn't lose my MP progress.

Hi, not trying to get picky but from reading this I don't think you had the "Unable to connect to EA server" issue. Is that correct? I ask because I am wondering if this issue exits only for those outside of the USA.

I was replying to the poster (or two) who mentioned having the issue I described above. I could connect, but it didn't think I had an online pass . It seems there are two issues being talked about in here.

Tried again. Still nothing.

6 days. I've tried all the fixes that I've seen, and none of them work. EA seems to be stubborn in their refusal to believe that it's a problem on their end, not ours.

Day 7.  Ran updates (I dunno if there was one or if Origin was being slow).

Still nothing.  Still wanting to play SINGLE PLAYER with my new DLC, EA.

My game was working fine until yesterday (albeit the connection for checking dlc and stuff took about 3 minutes) Id try spending points on a kit since the krogan shaman is out now... First it kicked me, i turned the game off and reloaded to see if i could get into the store again... And now it says that the ME3 server is unavailable... My friend is also having this issue as well, this is the last straw for me for this game. The ME series is my all time favorite but EA really ****ed the community in the ass with ME3, im never going to play this game again and im uninstalling it from my computer. Got the Collectors edition of every game and each time i attempt to get help from EA they do nothing but give me idiotic answers and unrelated troubleshooting answers.

The commuciation I got from EA Support today:

Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts regarding your connection issues with
Mass Effect 3 on PC. I do apologize for the delay in response and I can
certainly understand your frustration.

Due to the fact that your
connection issues seem to be a recent occurrence, it might be helpful to flush
the DNS cache on your network.

To Flush DNS:

1. Hold down the
Windows key and press R
2. At the Run command, type cmd and press enter
3.
Type ipconfig /flushdns and press enter
4. Type ipconfig /registerdns and
press enter
5. Type ipconfig /release and press enter
6. Type ipconfig
/renew and press enter
7. Type netsh winsoc reset and then press enter
8.
Restart the computer

Also, As a next troubleshooting step, please run a
trace for us to review. https://help.ea.com/...ow-to-uo-trace. Please
attach the file to your case as you attached your screenshot with the error
message that you receive.

Please include answers to the following
question, in case further troubleshooting is needed:

What is your game
account name? What is the e-mail address associated to it?
A detailed
account on the events that occurred which lead to this issue. (Please include
exact error messages, if any.)
Do you run other programs while playing the
game? (i.e., music players, downloaders, web browsers)
Did this game ever
run fine online before?
Who is your Internet Service Provider?
What type
of connection do you have?
Is your Internet connection shared (i.e., in a
workplace, apartment complex, educational institution)?
Do you have any
other device that is connected to the router or modem?
Is your wireless
network secure?
Do you have a router? If so, is it wired or wireless? What
is the brand and model?

If your issue has been resolved and you no longer
require assistance, please disregard this email. This case will close
automatically with 7 days.

I do appreciate your patience and
understanding while we work to resolve this for you. Please let us know if you
have any further questions or concerns.

I responded on everything including the traces. They were quite intersting because there are various packet losses along the route to the EA server(s).

Did some digging today - found something interesting on my U-Verse connection:

meav5-pub.pt.iad.ea.com 159.153.226.105 10 49ms 100% 0 / 19

It would seem that all my packets to easo.ea.com (the game gateway) are being stuffed out before they exit the AT&T network - at 12.83.43.9 6.

Of course, AT&T tier one support is massive stupid and wouldn't forward this info to their engineering group. They wanted me to pay a fee-based support division to possibly fix their stupid network. The supervisor I asked to speak to kept rambling on about HTTPS and firewall ports, and absolutely refused to let me speak to someone who might be able to look at it.  I already have scheduled an appointment to switch my  service provider Monday due to their attitude*

How many people experiencing this issue are U-Verse customers? How many aren't? I'm just curious if it's a U-Verse problem - if it is, good luck to you, because tier one will not pass you to anyone with a clue to even investigate the possibility that it's an issue.

* perhaps it isn't even the root problem, but to not even look at it, but instead try to pass me off to some division that wants $$$? Screw that - their indifference is why I'm giving up on them as a provider.

I've been hitting the exact same problem for exactly 2 months now, and I'm in Australia. The problem of course is the way the signal has to jump between networks to get to the server in the US. And yet, the game can still verify all my DLC.

However -- with utterly no thanks to EA and their outsourced minions -- I have stumbled across a partial work around.

It seems the problem, at least for me, lies in the latest patched version of the game -- v1.4.5427.111. With that in place, the game freezes for a minute during loading then tells me the ME3 servers are unavailable. Frustratingly during the SP it'll occasionally flash up a message declaring that contact with the servers has been lost and I need to reconnect, freeze the game for a minute, then continue blithely on. Still unable to connect to MP.

However, replacing MassEffect3.exe with the previous version -- v1.03.5427.46 -- restores all MP functionality except Retaliation (you can't choose Collectors or Hazard maps). While this *drastically* reduces the pool of players and does nothing to lesson frustration as your friends all laugh about their rolly polly vollus, it's far better than nothing at all.

Could you link a download for the old version?

I've been wanting to play for days and its just insane that bioware haven't even acknowledged that there's a problem or if they're gonna fix it. Meanwhile i cant even access the singleplayer of a game ive paid money for.
