With the reegar you want to use the AP mod and ammo mod, with incendiary ammo. The reegar has bonus damage vs barriers/shields at base and the incendiary and AP mod make up for its reduced damage to armor. Having more ammo means more uptime for your reegar, as you'll find yourself running out of ammo constantly without it.

Also Glacier is risky becuase if you get hack 4 objectives it can be very difficult to keep the enemies away from you, especially on wave 10. Try a map like White/Ghost/Giant/Reactor etc...

I did my Lone Wolf banner with a Turian Ghost + Harrier X + Warfighter V + AP Ammo + Extended Clip + Heavy Barrel IV + AR Rail.

Faction was Reapers, map - mostly FB Giant, difficulty - Gold. I'd move around the map picking off mooks and brutes then when they stopped respawning i'd lure the banshees into a long-range kill zone and pop at them until they dropped.

The only thing u have to be extra careful with are the objectives. With Pizzas and Drones or the Central Hack, rely mostly on missiles. If the heat gets too heavy then run to the other side of the map and lure the packs there then sprint back to the central hack and complete it. Extraction is done by skirting the map and dodging foes, mainly. Then when the time is around 30 secs, make a run for the LZ

I think Glacier is better for this particular character because of it's many hallways and tiny spaces. Fire explosions have a pretty decent range and you will get them 2-3 at the time, and since they will all be so close together, that will mow them down pretty fast.

Getting a Devices objective at wave 10 it's really unlucky, but not that hard if you keep them at mid range, then making a run for it  when they are far away as possible from the device. I think every hack takes about 10 seconds.

When you say you should be able to charge every five seconds, I seem to be taking a bit more time to do that. Not sure why since I followed your build, but i generally have time to unload the shotgun twice before i can charge again.

That's because you want to take Power Recharge in Barrier and/or Shotgun Weight.

I take both on my Kroguard, since I usually use a Claymore X.

Yeah, I modified my guy a bit from the recommended build to decrease shotgun weight.  Got both golds done on first try. Surprisingly easy...

I'll be honest, I'm pretty useless at this game and find the thought of soloing frankly terrifying. Especially since I rarely use Krogan or shotguns. But I tried this out on Bronze this morning and I didn't need to use one missile or medigel, it was a breeze. 

Granted I don't think I'll be getting that Lone Wolf banner any time soon (don't particularly want to go in Platinum even with a full squad), but I'm still impressed

When I said that doing it with a character that doesn't recharge its shields every 5 seconds it was just a manner of speaking for doing it really fast. I just promoted my Vanguards so I don't know the exact recharge speed, but it's about 7 seconds.

Everyone know this ,its just too easy , Bioware should reset the requirement like solo gold 2 times with different characters at least, that would make the banner more meaningful .

This was the guide that made me finish this challenge... I thank you. Not that I use the banner, but the credits were worth it! I needed all my attention span, though... and it ate all my level III incendiary rounds... Oh well.

As you can see, not everybody knows it. I don't see what's the big deal people have with this method, if you can do it in different maps and different characters, go ahead and do it. But I don't think that this makes a better player than anyone else, nor does saying they "cheated" their way into getting it.

Some guy with an N7 rating of 33,000 told me to use an N7 fury.
Firebase white geth, and hide behind the L shaped counter the salarian engineer used to camp at before they fixed the level. Annihilation field just melts everything.

Well I just did my first gold with the kroguard. Reegar fire explosions are fun with the biotic charge.
