I did my gold solos on Tuchanka with geth prime. I found location where I can stay and have only one opponent in front of me at the time. Using heavy melee and restoring shields plus turret for additional shields and Hex-shield for minor opponents like swarmers.  I did it against Reapers. Could not do it against Geth because of primes with their high-rate turrets killing my shields. Could not do it against Cerberus because of the smoke grenades which make me unable to use melee. Collectors are out of question here - they are too tough to fight solo anyway. Another secret I discovered on this Tuchanka map is that there is one tiny spot available for my turret. If I get my turret in there, enemies would not be able to kill it (it will appear inside the wall). However it will be effectively destructing some of them from me and it will provide efficient shield boost!

Oh that is very interest tactical strategic objective planning.  I also perform many solo on Tuchanka and sit in a corner to solo as much as possible.  I always make sure to have female opponent in front of me at the time, because male opponent reduces my soldier's fighting attention stance.  Using default grip, sometimes ambidextrous, plus water for hydration for marathon sessions.  I did against Cerberus.  Could barely against Geth because head looks like fleshlight.  Somehow managed against Reapers (Banshee not perfect, but anatomically correct).  Collectors are out of question here - Big heads look like mushrooms, and Praetorian screech plus Scion hunchback create too many flashbacks of ex girlfriends.  Another secret I discover on this Tuchanka map is there is one tiny spot available for extraction.  If I extract there, enemies will slip and fall off edge when in pursuit (it will appear all over floor).  However it will be effectively destructing some of environment, but Tuchanka is pretty much screwed anyway.
