I didn't think she was annoying. However, her acting like hers is the only planet or people under attack bothered me to no end. And Shep was just as dumb with the auto lines.

"Next time we go to war maybe the Alliance could provide air support!" Yeah, and maybe next time we go to war your people will jump in before it becomes their personal problem instead of telling everyone to f**k off. And the Alliance can't provide support because they are busy on their own worlds and oh yeah, building the Crucible that will hopefully save your ass.

To be honest I found Shepard/Hackett/Udina/Alliance guilty of the same thing.  Shepard and Udina go to the council and ask for the Turian, Salarian and Asari fleets to assist Earth, but the councillors are all "errr, no, we're being attacked too."

Then Shepard and Udina throw a hissy fit that they didn't get their way.  At that point I was wondering why the hell he was acting like this. Like you say, another problem with the autodialogue.

I use spacebar to skip by that utter derp...

Thessia is the only other part of the game I don't like. This is one reason, Leng is another, and not being able to go ape-**** at Tevos for hiding the beacon is a third.

Shepard: [hangs head] I'm... sorry.

Me: F*ck you!

I like Liara, but my only problem with her was how Bioware handled her after LotSB

Biggest autodialogue fail in the game. I wanted to have words with Tevos ever since I saw her kowtowing to Aria (really, ever since I read the entry on Ekuna in ME2). My Shepard would have bitten her head off. If anything, SHE should be apologizing.

The point is Garrus wasn't entirely teary eyed on Menae, Wrex was more interested in Killing the Reaper on Tuchanka (same with Tali), yet "super badass shadow broker" Liara is the only one who has a mental breakdown?

And why does Shepard care so much? This **** is happening all over the Galaxy, yet apparently Thessia is the planet to save?

Railroading in Mass Effect is bad.

Lol yeah Liaras the only one with mental problelms. Which game were you playing?

I don't get the Tevos hate (shooting the messenger?). The matriarchs on Thessia informed Tevos of the existence of the beacon...and she contacts Shepard, that's it.

. The one that Shepard received on Eden Prime didn't need the cipher

It needed the Cipher to actually comprehend it, instead of just seeing a blizzard of visions.

But it was still possible to discern some information from it.  Same with the data cache on Mars.  No cipher around but it still was able to be used by the Alliance

Funny- I can stand Liara in the Thessia mission but I absolutely wanted to throw her to the Banshees on Lesuss. Where the frell do she and the Asari get off treating them as sub sentient slime grateful to be on the bottoms of their shoes.
There could be a cure for the syndrome that another race could make, but no- the Asari couldn't possibly admit these things 'sarcasm' exist. I like Tevros but I ended up being very antipathetic to their race.

That was stored on a different format.

That's... disturbing, true, and is the one major thing I dislike about the asari. But I like their culture in general.

A lot of the plot and character related dialogue in Mass Effect 3 tends to be of mediocre quality, especially i the later half of the game.

I can kind of logically see why she personally isn't to blame, but the f*cking reaction she has to you failing to get the information in time, and then Shepard's meek reaction to this, is just infuriating. I'm pretty sure I ended up just shouting over my own dialogue choices.

"Why the f*ck are you talking to me like I've let you down? Thessia is burning and it's not my f*cking fault, you hypocrite. Oh boy, you'd better hope I die in this war because some people are going to answer for their mistakes. Guess who's top of the list? Kill you? I'm not a murderer, but you better find another occupation, Tevos, because your days on the Council will be numbered. Afterlife'll need new staff no doubt."

Tevos was aweful. I could not stand how she ignored the war summit, and she held back the Asari´s dirty secrets until Thessia itself was under siege.

Interesting fact: the only main plot missions where you have full control of which squadmates come are Sanctuary and Earth.

Yeah, it's kind of ridiculous.

Sur'Kesh and Tuchanka don't force you to bring anyone.

I wish my renegade Shepards could call her out on that. "If you'd told us about this the moment the Reapers showed up we'd already have the Catalyst and your world wouldn't be burning."

But no... my 'People Die' Shepard gets all moody and sad for no reason and apologizes to the person who withheld valuable information until it was no longer viable.

I'm condemning Tevos for not telling me about the beacon despite me asking for her help, and for being all sad and dissapointed in me because I couldn't save the day again despite the circumstances, which were partly her fault.

Reading the first sentence in my post also would have been a good idea. Logically, I can see why she couldn't tell me, but logically, I can see why not doing so makes her a f*cking idiot.

She's beholden to Thessia's government; she couldn't say anything until they let her, just like Sparatus couldn't command the turian armies to help Earth.

Oh my goddess, my planet is burning!
Oh my goddess, my people are dying!
Oh my goddess, my city is being destroyed!
Oh my goddess, the reapers are evil!
Oh my goddess, my government lied!
Oh my goddess, my past is false!

Rannoch, barring the first mission, is the same as far as I know. And then there's the Citadel coup.

I she'd told us the moment the reapers showed up, Shepard wouldn't have been sent to retrieve it, and we'd never have found out what the Catalyst was.
