The dialog system on consoles should stay the same as it was in DA2 but on the PC, there should be the simple paraphrases laid down in a list that direct the Inquisitor's next few lines of autodialog.
Also, bring back the old isometric view for PC gamers. Interfaces should differ depending on the system to create a more optimized experience. One thing that DA2 did right was making the feel of the console experience less clunky but this time around, the PC version needs more tweaks. By tweaks I don't mean just heading back to DAO but finding ways to improve upon DAO's formula to create something even better.
So for dialog on the PC, there would be a list with each paraphrase with a number on the left side and a tone icon on the right. Arrow keys (or WASD) scroll through options and enter (or space) selects. Alternatively, there are also arrows on the top and bottom and players can click to scroll and then click on the icon. The tone icon showing if the choice is a question, persuade, joke, etc begins to light up and swirl when the mouse hovers over it.
