Yes, you read that right: volus INFILTRATOR. I bumped into this little
gem by accident while playing around with a reegar on my volus adept.

it's a 6/6/6/4/4 volus adept build revolving around the volus natural passive ability, the light melee tactical cloak.

the build: http://narida.pytalh...lasses/#06ORRFF[9%400%40A%40%40L4N4%400%400

The orbs are specced for maximum recharge speed so you can spam shield recharge and stasis while still being able to carry a heavier weapon. this will allow you to still maintain your role as a support character which the volus is made for primarily. I personally find the orb recast time to be too long and the damage output it gives is just too low. the expose evolution is fine, but the short window of time (6 seconds) for debuffing feels awkward. and offhost, it's not as reliable to spam all 3 orbs effectively.

The reason I call this the volus infiltrator is because you'll be capitalizing on the unique way the volus tactical cloak works. unlike the standard infiltrator tactical cloak, the volus cloak doesn't have a damage bonus, and you can't spec it for duration. It's base duration should be around 4 seconds or so.

however, the volus cloak has two features not found in the standard TC.

first is the fact that it has virtually no cooldown (and is a separate cooldown altogether from your standard cast). this means that you can spam it all you want even if you're still waiting for your natural cooldown (or even worse, you're under a collector swarm). Plus, as soon as you decloak, you can cloak right away without attracting too much attention.

second is the fact that you do NOT decloak when you use an ability or fire a weapon. this is what makes the volus an effective infiltrator. you can rush in cloaked and unload your weapon (i personally use the reegar) then rush out even before the enemy spots you.

so, if you'll be able to get used to constantly cloaking and doing hit and run tactics, all the while shield boosting yourself and your allies when need be, you'll be able to assist your teammates effectively with both shields AND damage output. thanks to the biotic orb recharge speed bonus, you'll be able to arm yourself with slightly heavier guns while still being able to use your support powers. (plus it's just so funny seeing a little volus take down a preatorean all by himself.XD)  just remember to cloak as much as possible.

the build itself is merely a suggestion on how to use the volus adept as well as the weapons equipped, so feel free to tweak it. hopefully you'll find it effective, the same way I have. Image IPB if you have any suggestions and comments, feel free.:)

I would like to get this class since it's an Adept that can restore it's shields (ME 1 style) and turn invisible.

Biotic Infiltrator for the win.
Oh and it has cute little combat rolls.

Biotic God indeed.

Why couldn't the Biotic God in Mass Effect 2 be more like this and less like this?
