So when Riordan(think thats his name) proposes to have Loghain undergo the Joining ritual how does Anora know that its often fatal when the ritual itself is a secret known only to those who have undergone it?
Problem with Anora?

It's one of those common knowledge things.
When people die becoming Grey Wardens . . . others tend to notice.
The part of the ritual that is secret is the whole "drink Darkspawn blood" thing.

Cailan was obsessed with the Grey Wardens he may have known that the ritual was potentially fatal. Anora is smart and may have got the information out of him.

If its common knowledge then why didn't you Ser Jory or Daveth know about it?
