From how I'm reading it, sounds like a single Krogan getting 50 melee kills in a 4-player match would earn all 4 players the Commendation Pack. Wording is a bit confusing (as always) however, so I'm gonna do this solo and keep working towards Combat Mastery.

Ofcourse that isn't the case, it's the INDIVIDUAL goal, which means that JUST YOU, need to get a gold melee medal as a krogan and that is all, it's pretty clear..

Being a fairly casual player currently focusing on maxing commons/uncommons, I don't actually have a Krogan unlocked yet. This challenge is pretty disappointing for me, and undoubtedly other newer players as well. At least there will be another op next week...

Biotic Charge = Biotic for Medal, Melee for Rage. You can even see that you get Biotic medals for Charge kills.

Biotic Charge = Biotic for Medal, Melee for Rage. You can even see that you get Biotic medals for Charge kills.

this is retarded. Why?! the best things about the MP ops are the team aspects!

PATRIOT was far best plainly because of the squad goal, this is like the anti-thesis of it "please take krogan and go play by yourself to get a new gun"

and the way it seems the upcoming ones are *also* going to be solo achievements. Stupid move EA

Wow. I'd hate to be in your head. If Bioware wanted to nerf something, they don't need to organize an operation for it. You make it sound like they're out to maliciously hurt players - which would only be the dumbest thing ever. Wow.

It's scary that people actually think like this. Of course I also thought that they weren't out to eliminate "farming" but clearly I was wrong.

Makes sense. Operation is a way for Bioware to trigger certain plays in order to gather data, at the same time it keeps players playing. Two birds in one stone. 

However, I don't think they gonna nerf Rage since its being around for 8 months, and especially when the only potential overpowered krogan is the Vanguard. They might nerf the Krogan Vanguard's Biotic Charge though (more cooldown, for example)

There was an operation awhile back (Opewration Savage if I recall) requiring a squad of all batarian, vorcha, and krogan and none of the three were nerfed after that.

Well, considering that post still had "SQUAD GOAL" in it, where the deck is the current krogan SQUAD goal? i'd absolutely LOVE to have every-weekend ops that have both squad-based and solo-based objective (that arent interfering with eachother, meaning basically  that either you get them both at same try or that theyre intertwining such as personal damage goal but squad- based extraction/map/enemy/timer goal.

what i absolutely loathe is the idea that the ops will not have squad goals- including the consideration that my frined is jsut about to get the game so i was looking forward to introduce him to PATRIOT-level fun weekend ops just to get this wet towel here instead.

Took my kroguard out against the reapers on bronze today, doing nothing but melee you should be able to get the medel in the 5th wave, 6th by the latest.

Fun fact: First time I attempted and completed a solo.

Actually for new players this probably seems impossible.
I would expect most challenges to be given so the vast majority are able to be completed by the avg pug (aka those who should be playing silver)
