I did a test run of this on Firebase White, Cerberus and Bronze and managed 50 melee kills in little over 10 minutes with a Krogan Sentinel.

I did it on Firebase Glacier Bronze Cerberus 

but died on wave 7

I just did it on Bronze vs. Cerberus by wave 4 and my objective was kill the targets.

Also I was a Krogan Sentinel on Hazard Giant if that's relevant at all.

So yes it's entirely possible.

Yeah, if you can't solo it, it's basically undoable. Disappointing, really.

Today I accidentally earned gold melee medal as Krosentinel on Hazard Ghost/Geth/Gold in full team. I was just running around with rage slapping bombers/headbutting hunters etc. and around wave 10 it happened. So it's not all that hard.

I'm a silver player who has never attempted to solo even bronze before and I did a practice run on Bronze/White/Cerberus with a Kroguard and was able to get the 50 meele metal in five waves. So it's doable.

Have you done it since the last patch 3 days ago? Because the gold medal requirement went from 15 to 50 kills.

I know that the Krogard's ""Charge" counts as melee kill to activate his "Rage". Does that mean it counts as melee kill for medals? For instance, could you get the gold melee medal with 50 "Charge" kills?

Granted this is not one you are likely to get on gold or platinum playing with a group of 4, but some of you make it sound like it's impossible to achieve 50 melee kills in a group game. Of course it will be easier to solo to knock this one out but just yesterday I headbutted 50 mooks in a game to death playing a silver match for giggles.

If you are playing with other Krogan, odds are they need the medal as well so use your mic to communicate, on objective waves ignore the objective for the first few minutes and just go on a rampage. Should be able to get half the kills required on a single objective wave if you hurry. Easier to solo yes but far from impossible with a group..

I believe there will be no splash screen for these smaller weekly challenges. The clock has started and in theory there should be something in your 'challenges'...'general' tab.
