Got -some- gold medals for soloing bronze. No text on them though. I guess it's untranslated or something. (russian version here)

And yes, that "1/3" something too. Does it mean i have to solo it three times?

Also did they say commendation packs would be handed out after the match itself? I was under the assumption they'll be given as they normally were after the operation.

Did a Solo Bronze, got the 75 kill.... then got sync killed by a Banshee when it grabbed me out of my running melee when it had one health bar left......

Don't need extraction, so you should be good.

Just completed the challenge on first try. You'll be notified by popups on the scoreboard at the end of the match.
I created a public match but started solo. To my surprise, all 3 that joined my game are non-Krogan kits.
It was a partial extraction, so I think failure will also count as long as you got 50 melee kills.

I can see the completion of the Weekend Challenge in-game listed at the end of the General tab, but can't se where in the N7HQ site.

Uh...I didn't get any popups at all saying that there was a challenge or that I completed it. I have the challenges completed on N7HQ, though. I'm on PS3, if that makes any difference.

That's strange. Just finished it on PS3 myself and saw a popup that I completed the weekend challenge when I was on the results screen. Guess there are still some kinks to work out of this new challenge system.

Also just complete, Solo Jade Silver vs Reapers, complete in Wave 4 I think, got grabbed in wave 5 after getting stuck between 2 Brutes and a Banshee.  Bagged a sexy new Eagle 1.

No. You can fail the mission. You have to only kill 50 enemies.
