There was a bug or something where people who played the first hour or so they didnt get the pack.  When I played around 8pm on Friday they had fixed it.  Found out whoever didnt get thier pack will have to wait till Monday.

Not sure this helps but I did it around the 5th hour it was on and got it at least 6-7 hours later. Be patient. If you don't get it just wait until it's over and hit the button on the very top so they can see if you did the challenge and what not. KROGAN!

I redid the challenge three times now and reset multiple times and still don't have my Commendation Pack. What's the problem?

Doing the challenge 3 times won't get you anything. Since it won't register after the first time you did it. You did the challenge before "the fix" was in place, so it has put you in the same boat as a lot of us.

Also, didn't you make a thread about "butthurt forum users complaining". Funny that you posted this message.

2 pink krogans on bronze vs geth. Fairly easy pack, funny game.. and very manly.

Also, the rain on Ghost just looks fantastic.

Maybe I'm not the only one missing this, but why there is not anymore a community goal? I know that in the past there have been complaints about how much it was an easy/difficult goal, the content of the victory pack and so on, but the community goals were nice to build a story line. They made me feel like the SP story would change because of them. Anyhow, I really enjoy that the commendation pack is given you instantly and that there will be weekend events every week: this would certainly address the frustration of those wanting a certain promotional weapon: the chance to get it are now doubled. Please, consider restoring the Community Goal.

There was a bug with some early players. (me included)

I think we have to wait until Monday to get them.

I emailed EA support and they usually fix missing Commendation Packs really quickly. So this time it must be a bigger problem.

Mission accomplished on bronze with a full team. I used my Krogan
Sentinel; Blaze and had a blast pounding the you know what outta the bad
guys. Received the commendation pack immediately. Question; can you get
one on silver, gold etc...does anyone know?

Krogan Soldier, bronze. Fun. Didn't think I'd done it at first because the award didn't flash up (or I didn't notice it) during any wave. Got the pack straight away.

Krogan Soldier lol. Too bad I promoted the class not too long ago so I was doing it with a level 4. Still on Bronze against Cerberus (don't remember the map) I got it around wave 5/6.

I'm not butthurt, as I was confused. I tried getting the fix to work. Now I know I have to wait. Back off of me.

you can do it with others - in fact it's nice if you take a volus along to keep you healed. you kill everything with melee and let the little one heal you up - worked nicely for my friend and I




edited to add:  I finished the challenge on Friday and haven't received my commendation pack either

I met the challenge with a Shaman Adept bronze solo against reapers on Giant before the fix and again after the fix I was surprised at how fast I got the pack and finally the Hurricane (yes)! Thanks BW for implementing the new Weekend Challenge scheme ...I'm loving it.

So, is this individual or squad? I have been in squads where people have completed the challenge of the 50 kills with a krogsn and gotten the commendation pack, but I have not. Will I get the commendation pack later, do I have to do the challenge and get it myself, or do I just need to try to get a squad member to do it again? (I have no krogan characters by the way, many others though) Whst do I do? Thanks!

You need to do it yourself. Krogan, 50 melees. If you make a krogan vanguard you should be able to get 50 melee kills by about the 5th wave solo bronze.

 Yay, just solo'd my first ever map for the first time as my Kroguard. 18:15 and 98k in points. For some reason my screenshot came up as just a black screen. I know it's only bronze but I'm proud of that.

Cool challenge. I didn't know my Krogan Soldier was so powerful! Usually don't play as any soldier class.
