50 melee kills on bronze. This was way too easy, and kinda lame imo.

Well it's not registering that the challenge is on for me. I just completed it, but got nothing. Suspected that would happen as I didn't get any notification it was active when I logged in. Lame.

I rarely play a Krogan, so I decided I'd practice a few solo runs on Bronze when I got home from work so I could get serious about it when the challenge started later that evening. On my second run-thru during wave 5 I noticed something pop up quickly bottom right of the screen, which turned out to be me beating the challenge! Didn't realize it started that early. Last time I could do a weekend challenge it started at 9 eastern. Anyway got a Crusader II from the instant commendation pack. That was nice.....the instant part!

I done my in silver with others. After 10 goes. Valiant III yes. It was in Fire Base White with reapers. Round 11. Last night.

Used my Krogan Sentinal on Bronze, it was a peace of cake to make 50 melee kills - got a Crusade II from the commendation pack, which isn't too bad (though I'd have killed for another Valiant).

Just beat the challenge and got my first ever solo extraction in the process! Played Glacier/Geth/Bronze with my Kroguard, got to the 50 melee kills in Wave 6, thought I was going to die on that wave but didn't. Valiant IV in my Commendation Pack.

Do you even have Retaliation DLC downloaded? I checked your N7HQ and you have no progress in a single challenge which leads me to believe you dont have the DLC. Without it you wont get anything by doing the bounty challenge.
Also there wasnt a splashscreen for this operation so you wouldnt have had any notification about it when you logged in, they're only going to be doing those for the big community operations.

Anyone know if you have to do this Operation on each platform you own now, now that the awards are automated and instantaneous?
In the past, if you did it on one platform, if your games on your other platforms were tied to the same Origin account, you would get the Commendation/Victory pack on the other platforms without having to do them. I already did it on PC yesterday, but I haven't been home to check the 360 to see if I got it yet.

Completed with Kroguard on duo/bronze. Attempted 5 times with Sentinel, but other PUG users too selfish to let me finish goal... even though there were plenty other enemies on the board. That's only 5 kills a wave (less extraction). Are some of you players seriously that hard up to stop other players from completing goals that you'll switch to Shadow just to KS? Wait.. we know the answer for that.

Hmm, I didn't see it in the store, so I'm assuming you have to do the Commendation/Victory Goals for each platform now. Unfortunately, just did it on FBGlacier/Geth/Bronze and even though I got a Gold melee medal, I didn't see the little Operation complete award and received nothing in the Store.
Oh well, looks like I'll have to go to the 'No Commendation Pack' thread.

Done, silver with squadmates, should have soloed this one in hindsight. Not complaining but this op was way too easy. Got the crusader 3 with my commendation pack, was hoping for hurricane or valiant. Good times with the Krogan soldier, back to my Turian Ghost before the inevitable nerf.

Instructions clearly say that the squad will get the Commendation pack if someone completes it. I don't have a Krogan but II've now played two games with two different friends both getting the gold medal and I haven't been awarded it. What gives?

No problem, and I agree. This challenge, while fun, wasn't as fun as previous ones. I feel the lack of an Allied Goal effected this. Just doesn't feel like a group effort. Here's to hoping next week, or sometime soon, we get an Allied Goal.

Never mind, my XBox didn't have Retaliation installed; silly of XBox Live to not keep track of downloads for people who have multiple consoles. ;P I got it now, although I didn't get it automatically just because I did it on PC; I had to do it again on the 360 in order to get it.

I love the new weekend challenge system, turned on xbox, started ME3, set up krogan character, set up solo bronze match, Kicked geth backsides, recieved commendation pack, quick easy and simple, nice one Bioware
