congratulations Bioware, if this had been implemented since the beginning, I would not have been without receiving the commendationa packs on operation Shieldwall, Silencer and Broadside.

Completed it with 1 min and 20 secs left on the countdown timer. Hope that Bioware count it, I didn't get my pack and it hasn't updated on N7HQ :/ I know I did it in time!

Edit - No splash screen either (xbox) I know a fair few people who didn't realise there was an op.

Yes the lack of splash screen is just silly. Not everyone visits the forums and few people obsessively check their challenge list.

I was concerned that I wasn't in time for the operation when there was no splash screen, but I had a crack soloing on bronze with my Kroguard... Had 50 melee kills by the end of wave 4... Got insta killed by a phantom in wave 8 but I still got the commendation pack and the first N7 challenge done according to the lists, all of which showed up at the end of the game.

I do hope these mini challenges aren't going to completely replace the regular operations with squad and allied goals... But these challenges are certainly going to promote playing with a variety of characters and styles by the looks of things, I had lots of fun trying this one!

A shakedown run.

It would make sense that squad goals could be run like this from now on, and you might get your comm pack right away, but would have to wait until the end of the event to get a Victory Pack.  But honestly, as worthless as the Victory Packs are, do we really care?

Did you know???, that if you select the weekly challenge completed, and set the title, it restores your profile to not having a banner, I know some people were complaining about not being able to take off a banner once you assigned one, now you can!

.....60 hours after i did the challenge STILL NO COMENDATION PACK.
got the completion hell i even went ahead and completed it a bout a dozen more times just to be safe....and nope....still nothing......if i get screwed out of the pack im gonna flip because the system itself says i have done it...and god knows i really dont want to have to spend hours phoning bioware to complain just to get somebody to push a button to have it issued.

I seriously hope this issue is resolved soon becuase if this happens everytime its going to put people off playing.

Squad Goal: Earn one gold melee-medal fighting as a krogan on any map at any difficulty.

Squad Goal Success: All squad members awarded a Commendation Pack.


It's since been drawn to my attention that it was "corrected" on the first page of this thread, but it still  says Squad on the Operation Bloodlust front page.  Wasted too many games before tracking down the 'reason' ...

NEVER had a problem with packs for weekend operations. This weekend, unclear 'squad' objective which turned out to be an individual one, well, I'm used to that. But now I had to create a 'review ticket' for them to give me a pack. I'm sorry, but it says in no less than three places that I have completed the Weekend Operation. Yet I have received no pack, which it says when I apply for the ticket. How is it that they don't just run a script for this? Has badge, has no pack. Well, then now they do have a pack, congrats! Because maybe I don't want a pack, just the credit for completing the objective? I am confused. Also, it may take up to 48 hours, for something which should be really easy.

I am *hoping* this will be resolved much more quickly, but.. NOT a good first N7 HQ Challenge.
