Well, not me. All those new crewmembers (with Ken and Gabby as exceptions, used editors to keep them alive) felt static and artificial, only meant to try and make me feel at home, just as Illusive Man wanted (but failed at that). The only thing I felt as they were gooified was iritation that I'll need to keep feeding the fish on my own (fortunately I've bought Aquarium VI the first moment I could).

As for the Normandy, the old one made me feel more like I lived in a hotel suite rather than a state-of-the-art stealth frigate that it was supposed to be. It felt too bright and too clean and tidy. The busy, almost submarine-like climate of ME 1&3 Normandy was better in my opinion.

It's quite obviously just a cover for a loading screen. Just imagine it's enforcing some security protocol and accept it.
As for the light, I much prefer it. It feel like a warship rather than a cruise vessel.

Although I've never served on an active warship I kinda always thought vision was important in maintaining it. Also I can't imagine a military officer not enforcing a "Clean this ship" atitude to the SR2.

Miss the SR-1 partly because of the awesome normandy theme and secondly because the the improved graphics versions of the ME1 armor and the SR-1 looked awesome even if it did get annihilated after a few minutes. Good old red stripe, no ugly yellow or blue banners.
