Bump, no idea what's going on.

when the last patch fixed the "memory leak on entering main menu" what that "fix" seems ot have done is actually create a program freeze on changing from any menu oh and of course the inevitable 20seconds>2minutes freeze on entering the main menu while it checks the dlc, then freezes then checks the dlc then freezes then comes back, its definatly worse in the last few days but i dont expect anyone from bioware to post about it, someon did post in another thread to say there aware of and looking into the problem but thats about it so far since it doesnt seem system specific,

hits people with amd/nvidia/anthill equally so chances are it has somethign to do with a driver file of some sort that the game looks for and cant find >>>

I have the same issue, after entering main menu (no matter is it first time or after playing multi) main menu freezes for ~45 sec after which game perform quick scon for new DLC and after that main menu is operational again. I see this since i came back to the game 3 weeks ago (i had a long break).

I've figured out a temporary remedy for this, simply load up the game and when it prompts you to press any button, just push the button and quickly alt-tab the game, wait 5 seconds and open it up. Works for me at least.
