I have completed the game from each origin and find I have distinct favorites:

Dwarven commoner really struck a cord with me and I found it a very compelling.  Sure the origin itself was well done but what really made it was how much it affected my return to Orzimmar.  It played a distinct role in what I did and why I did it.  I also loved becoming a paragon.  I am a sucker for rags-to-riches stories.

A close second would of course be the dwarven noble origin.  I swear the first half of the game I played angry because of how things played out.  I couldn't wait to get back to Orzimmar and screw Bhelen over as much as possible.  It was definitely a great experience.

Human noble was interesting since once again I was playing with the motivation of revenge on Howe.  Later on in the game it was cool how the landsmeet was able to go differently for me but in the end I was left wanting more.  I wanted a much different and satisfying confrontation with Howe.  In fact is was almost completely the same except for a few dialogue options.

City elf was a close 4th behind human noble mainly for the same reasons.  My return really wasn't that unique.  It left me with wanting more.

Dalish elf was painful and did not feel to be compelling in any way.  My return was "bleh" and not all that different from other characters I played through with.

Last of all was the mage origin.  It just never seemed compelling.  The overall story was fine but it never really drew me into the character.

In summary, what I enjoyed the most was when my character's return had a very distinct impact and changed the feel of that particular chapter so that it resembled something FAR different than when playing through with other characters.

You do know that even choice of gender changes minor things in the origins? ;)

I for my part enjoy dwarven noble more as female. As do I enjoy city elf more with female. And mage. Cullen's flight is just too hilarious not to do it.

I didn't feel like writing that much more when it came to gender.  I played a few as female and it definitely gave things a different feel and I enjoyed the change.  I look forward to mixing things up more in the future.

My biggest gripe so far with the origins is that if your play a noble female, your dad still calls you 'pup'. Does anyone else refer to their daughter as a dog?
