Actually I think I've figured it out. It happened to me all the time, after a restart of the game and logging in again, I didn't get the Unauthorized message. So I figured the DA updater service has something to with it, as it doesn't start up in time to check your online permissions, so I configured it to start automatically at system startup, and now I don't get the Unauthorized problem anymore. Hope this helps.
Thx=) it worked for me to:D

Hmmm, I tried that and I get a message saying that the service started and then stopped and that some services stop when they're not needed. The weird thing that's happening for me is, if I log off, my DLC works, but if I log in with the only account I've ever created to play the game with, then it says the DLC is unauthorized. I never had that problem until today. Now it won't let me load any of my OC save games while logged in.
Patch 1.03, which was included with Awakening, has some fixes for the DA Content Updater Service included, but the patch installer doesn't always seem to completely get all the Windows settings completely configured correctly afterwards. Running the DA Update Service Diagnostic Beta seems to get the service back in a good state. It includes the same fixes, but also does a better job of checking to make sure that its configured correctly.

Ooh, thank you very much! That seems to have worked. I'll have to bookmark that for future reference.
