i was using patch 1.04, but just reinstalled, now all i can find is the 1.05 for ultimate eddition. Is this the patch i should be using? I just have the old orginal version of origins, and awakenings, and all the DLC.. I wasnt sure if i was supose to use this patch, or if there was another someplace?

If you have any intention of using mods at some point then you need 1.04, you can find it through google. 1.05 broke most mods while not really fixing anything about the game.
If you have no intentions of ever modifying your game then 1.05 is fine.

Don't bother with 1.05 if your DLCs are working with 1.04. 
The patch doesn't fix any dialogues or Awakening bugs or anything like that.
