Well...if you used the ghost, why didn't you hit them with overload from cloak to stun them, then nail them with a hail of assault rifle fire? The Saber knocks them down pretty good. (they don't get stunned mid-attack, granted, you have to wait for it to finish.)

OMFG! OMFG! did you not read the OP!!

this aint about completing the objective OR killing dragoons. OMFG OMFG!!

you silly. YOu silly.

if you aint whining about how bad the dragoons are you aint posting right!!

no one wants advice on how to do things...they here to vent.

Darn, I guess I haven't played this game enough to know that you can shoot Dragoons while simultaneously activating objectives! It's not like you crouch down and stay still, or anything. Can you also fire guns and powers, activate objectives, and revive team mates at the same time!?

Ok so some people are not understanding my situation. im doing solo bronze for solo mastery and i use my turian ghost lvl 20, at the moment im using various assault rifles because of AF mastery, im on glacier and im doind 4 node objectives most of the time so there hopefully people understand.

huh. sounds like you arent prepared for it then. sooooooo if you dont want to carry the scorpion (BEST WEAPON TO USE against them imho).....THAN set up your ghost for CHAIN OVERLOAD....with neural shock! it stops them dead in their tracks... KILL UM...KITE UM.....RUn in a circle..

LVL 20 Ghost on Bronze...and this thread is what comes up?

THIS is a BS whine thread.

Killing them during 4 node objective solo is a waste of time because they just respawn endlessly, head right to where you are in a second, and knock you out of the objective.

This information is much better served being read to yourself, because all your advice is utterly worthless.

OP: I can't activate objectives because Dragoons know where I am as soon as they spawn and run really fast!
You: KITE THEM HURR HURR.
Me: Doesn't work.
You: JUST SHOOT THEM. AND KITE.

Then you try to imply that I was "whining" about the Dragoons. You are falsely inferring information from my post.

Either dragoons are device objectives need adjustment. I don't see this as being up for debate.

I agree; Dragoons aren't all that difficult to deal with, the problem is that they ZERG RUSH you relentlessly with lightning speed. You have to deal with them before you can disarm devices, but once you've dealt with them they instantly respawn and run back to you before you can finish with the objective (not to mention the other units that close in on you in the meantime). They completely go against existing Cerberus strategy... even Phantoms advance cautiously, firing from cover and retreating if things go bad

Dragoons are working and working as intended. Ergo, there's nothing to fix about Dragoons.

Another definition of fix would be to neuter, or NERF the stupid Dragoons.  And working as intended with bad design requires a redesign/fix of the design.

Phantoms take cover and do their denial thing.  If Phantoms came at you at Dragoon speeds, and never took cover or stood still, everyone would really be complaining.

Dragoons are the DUMBEST MOST BROKEN enemy in this whole game.  They make Geth look classy!

What's so badly designed about a CO_OP MULTIPLAYER game having units that are difficult to deal with SOLO?

Maybe some day Bioware will add a Single Player component to Mass Effect 3. Maybe add some story to it as well, I heard they're good at that.
Oh, wait..

This pretty much....i can see the Geth charging or continuiosly coming at you since they are basically robots, but other organic foes need to pause or fall back when when taking heavy fire. The dragoons, once they start their animation, they usually spam it to death once they're right on top of you, giving you very little chance to stop them.

I've managed to do a biotic charge then teleport quick when using the slayer or any other vanguard, but anybody else in that situation is toast...so i agree that the aggression of all enemies need better reaction to being drilled with heavy fire instead of just coming forward like the firepower isn't affecting them...it makes it more challenging, but not necessarily more realistic.

Dragoons are doing what they were made to do, and that was pressure you. If you want to solo that isnt BW problem, with other players around dragoons are just free points.

Dragoons speed should be reduced.

I agree. Makes the 4 devices objectives very aggrevating with their current speed. Killing them is no problem, it's just them interrupting you when doing the devices objective that makes them aggravating.

Dragoons are a difficult bunch and Bioware should change them.
The fact that they have Armour means that they should be heavy and couldn't do fast runs.
Every other enemy Land unit with armour cannot run that fast. namely the Geth Flamer, Prime, Scion, Atlas, Ravager, and Brute. Given the brute can charge but he has a big mass of muscle. even the banshee doesn't run.

So i hope either bioware reduces his speed or they change his armour to health with barriers/shields.

My only problem is that they shoot while launching biotics. Which in Plat is really lame simply because of how fast it eats your health. Dodge their biotics? OH WAIT, NEVERMIND, MAGIC DRAGOON HERE TO SHOOT OUT OF HIS BUTT.

Meh.

Okay, you are just forgetting one detail, you was doing solo. This game allow you to play alone, we created a culture over it, with all the solo master on this community, then Bioware decided to give something to this solo players, when they developed their challenge system, BUT this game is a COOP..

The enemies don't have to be changed to make solo easier, the challenge on solo is to do alone what you should do with 4 persons, so deal with that. The dragoons force you to have at least two persons doing the objectives (mostly device and pizza), since they are fast and wont think twice before hitting you.

I think that there's too much dragoon spawn on some waves, but there's nothing to be fixed on the enemy, definitely not to be fixed to make solo easier...

I think that's the point of the dragoon, it force the team to have at least two persons on the device, one doing it, another defending...
