I don't think a Banner is an indication of Skill, but to solo a game meant to be played co-op does take some skill.

Well, I can't solo gold that's for sure and I refuse to use the reegar/kroguard combo.

Why would people complain about anything someone has that shows off someones skill at surviving in a match...

I want solo mastery the most but I might end up with combat mastery first...

And then that exact same thing happened.  I saw that a few vocal posters really hated the thing.    And I had to ask myself, why do they care so much?  You see, if they just thought it was an easy thing, they'd just go "meh" and move on.  

But when people make rage posts about something, it means they care.  It means it bothers them deep down at their core.  Is it jealousy?  I'm not sure.  It could just be hating.  But it really doesn't matter.  For some deep, primordial, unexplainable reason, the idea that people are deeply bothered by my choice of banner just fills me with delight.  

So thanks ragers.  You made my "meh" banner my favorite.

I actually had a blast soloing Silver.

Nah, just find another lobby.  Take some delight in the fact that you got someone's panties all in a bunch and move on.  I've never had trouble finding a pub lobby with the lone wolf banner or any other.

Personally I don't like the look of the banner itself, but I figured it would be the "quickest" to get, so I did 10 gold games to get it. Nope, didn't solo Platinum for it. Maybe I should...

Pretty much everyone on here that has the Lone Wolf banner always says "Oh but I AM a team player!" and that may be true, but put yourself in the other person's shoes. To them, Lone Wolf says "I can do this by myself and I don't need you so I'll just run around and leave you to rot" which is a HUGE red flag to some people. Personally, I don't care all that much if you have it so long as you choose a class that synergizes well with the rest of us and aren't using the reegar fire hose, otherwise I hope you enjoy a red X.

Playing this game alone goes against the very nature of it, in my opinion. Although if someone has the banner that generally means they're welcome in a gold/platinum lobby.

Yeah, I hope that didn't come off as elitist...cocky what have you, because I am not at all.

There is a plethora of players who could make me look like a fool playing this game, I have no doubt about that.

However I won't let people suck the fun out of it, and I would just go play myself if need be.

Definitely, the objectives are the hard part.  Nothing more so than disabling devices because you can't defend yourself in the slightest for 10 seconds each device.

I've got Lone Wolf, Dog of War and Gunslinger so far.  I started working on the sniper mastery this evening.

I kick Lone Wolves from lobby because they are not team players in general...

Solo gold with Kroguard vs Geth WAS easy task before.With the new changes(Drone has stun ability and Geth bomber),Kroguard isn´t safe anymore vs Geth.
For my banner I did solo vs Geth and Reaper and I´m 100% sure that today Reaper are far easier to solo than Geth.

Screw the haters.  If you earned, wear it, I don't care if you played a Kroguard, nuked spawns, and jammed 4-leaf clovers in your ears for luck.  Soloing Gold is hard, it's beyond the majority of players.  That doesn't say anything bad about that majority, it says something good about the people who could earn the banner.  I worked hard to get my Lone Wolf banner, and I sure as hell am not gonna apologize to anyone for not working even harder to get it.

So let 'em hate, they're idiots.

Banshees and Praetorians on top of me and 5 seconds left on this 1,2,3,4 objective with 8 seconds left on the clock!" terror. And BTW, just because someone finished the Lone Wolf, doesn't mean they played a Kroguard on Geth, or a Geth Infil. on every match. Some of us like a challenge.

I played weaker characters and classes I don't play well (Human Sent. Volus Eng. (really BW?) Drell Van. Shadow vs. geth) and never used consumables or upgrades on the Bronze or Silver matches. I used Fury and Destroyer on Gold against Collectors and Cerby respectively. (not great classes against either.) and my Kroguard only on Platinum.

But heck, you try taking on Praetorians, Phantom mobs, and Banshees with a Kroguard and a Reeger, no adrenaline mod, and seeker swarms making your charge useless on occasion. He's almost a liability at that point. Should have used the Destroyer for that one...

I solo for the challenge. I join PUG's to have a fun game. Kick me if you want, but I earned my banner. Just know that I won't stand over you and refuse to revive so you can witness my solo greatness from spectator mode.

If I had something to prove, I'd make a Youtube video.

yo man..i agree...but the overall consensus in this thread and through many a threads on the BSN....is to show everyone and their mothers how skilled you are...YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE LONE WOLF BANNER....if you dont...you aint shiet and everyother banner is just an indication of your willingness to grind. That i disagree with.
