And BTW, just because someone finished the Lone Wolf, doesn't mean they played a Kroguard on Geth, or a Geth Infil. on every match. Some of us like a challenge.

I played weaker characters and classes I don't play well (Human Sent. Volus Eng. (really BW?) Drell Van. Shadow vs. geth) and never used consumables or upgrades on the Bronze or Silver matches. I used Fury and Destroyer on Gold against Collectors and Cerby respectively. (not great classes against either.) and my Kroguard only on Platinum.

But heck, you try taking on Praetorians, Phantom mobs, and Banshees with a Kroguard and a Reeger, no adrenaline mod, and seeker swarms making your charge useless on occasion. He's almost a liability at that point. Should have used the Destroyer for that one...

I solo for the challenge. I join PUG's to have a fun game. Kick me if you want, but I earned my banner. Just know that I won't stand over you and refuse to revive so you can witness my solo greatness from spectator mode.

If I had something to prove, I'd make a Youtube video.

As for the bolded/underlined......I think that's what the main mentality is with certain people.  That you will not be a team player.

But then that when they should stop and  think....why would this person be joining a public match if all they wanted to do was solo.......

Actually, no, Lone Wolf means that you have some skill (not that everyone can do it, like you claimed), but you don't have to have it to be good. Played yday with 3 friends, one of them never bothered with LW, still was no worse than other teammates. This attitude I can totally respect as I myself was bored with silver and bronze, using them to level up my characters, and haven't yet tried Platinum.
You, however, badmouthing it while boasting a AR-mastery achievement which requires even more tedious grinding with horrid guns like Avenger (judging by leftover XP), are a hypocrite and your behaviour makes you look worse, not the achievement.

Complaining about banners, lol, it is about a few pixels on the screen, meaningless e-penis enlargements just for playing the game not showing any skills.

I like my Lone wolf cause it looks cool, I didn't do Kroguard vs Geth, too easy. EVERYONE assumes that people use that setup, it's a load of crap.

If you have Lone Wolf in my lobby, then i'm kinda glad, it means I don't have to babysit you.

Edit: OP, if you want a match, add me. More than happy to play with people who have fun.

The lone wolf banner is the 2nd best looking with [X][X] on it. The 1st is biotic gods, the blue really contrast the red x's right before I kick them.

None of the Banners require skill.
They require a knowledge of how to GET them. That is all.
You can Kroguard geth on gold 2 times, then on silver 3 more. then just solo bronze 5 times and POOF "Lone Wolf"

Doesn't take skill.
Some people out there will yell and scream like children saying "I'm a boss. I'm a Lone Wolf. Fear me."
And I will laugh because I don't care who anyone thinks they are, I am having fun playing my game.

EDIT: To those that can solo Platinum without Kroguarding it. YOU are legit and have my respect.
I vote 1 Platinum solo should be required to obtain the "Lone Wolf" banner.

The Lone Wolf is the only banner with skill requirements, unless you choose kroguard vs geth with reegar. Any other is grinding or comes with time.

It's really hilarious that people on BSN think that LWs are all non-team players and Rambos. Ability to solo doesn't mean that you can't be a valuable team asset, apparently it's hard to grasp.

And I agree with a sentiment that LW should require platinum solo.

I find it hilarious that people dig at those who use Kroguards on Gold to get it done. I used a mix of Krogans to complete my solos and yeah I used the Kroguard too. Because I like Krogans. Tanking fire is more entertaining to me than chickensh!tting around the map all day because a Marauder sneezed at me once.

Are the krogans good? Sure. Do they make Gold a joke? Absolutely not. You can still very easily die on Gold Geth with a Kroguard even consumable-boosted. It's not a Win Button like salty elitists seem to think it is. Compare it to using a Destroyer/GI on Platinum. You're using a biblically good character to make it easier for yourself there OR you're using a character you like using. Neither are bad things people.

I have several banners, and I hadn't had a problem till last night. I joined a silver match with my "Monster" banner. The three idiots there asked me how I got it, and I was polite enough to tell them about the challenge system (they all were low N7). Then they said "Btw, this isn't gold", and proceed to kick me (lol).

As I said before, they lose you, and you win by avoiding that kind of players, so let them hate (and fail on wave 3).

Right?! The Nomad banner is one of the coolest looking ones! I really want it, but I'll let it complete slowly. And Lone wolf also looks cool, and that's why I want it, not because I want to scream in people's faces that I can play alone without them. I actually pretty much hate soloing.

I have to do my second gold solo today or before Tuesday, because BW may listen to the elitist crap on this board and make it need Platinum to obtain.

Also, I have the banner (going for Streetsweeper though) - and its funny what some of you are saying in here, because 9/10 in pugs im the one with 5/10/15 revive medals, im the one using my rockets so you guys dont have to, im the one who medi gels when 2 or more teammates are down and hauls your asses into the next round, im the one whos first on the objective. If I play a match, I go into win - whatever the cost - 6 medigels? no problem! SHTF I got 5 cobras for em! I want that full extraction dammit!

Cant we all just agree that the challenges arent really meant to be viewed as a competitive marks, and just a cool way to add flavor to your gametag?

Well, lone wolf might not be terribly hard. But no other "challenge" requires anything at all beyond spending time in the game. No matter how bad you are at the game you can still farm points.
