This. Harbinger has no room for character development as an antagonist and the narrative moves along without his involvement until the above encounter.  He exists only to give a name and "face" to an otherwise faceless threat. Any encounter with him would inevitably result in plot armor in the style of Kai Leng on Thessia. I would not get my hopes up if I were you.

Good! Shepard's finished. He's over. Making another Shepard game following the events of Mass Effect 3 would be mental. Heck, it'll be hard to make a follow-up at the best of times.

I'd like to set it earlier, and let the player choose between council races. Like you could in Dragon Age: Origins. Salarian (M), Turian (M / F), or Asari (F). Pre-human galaxy. Limits the scope of some stories - you know where society's going to be at the end of the game, if not the individual characters - but blows open some completely different avenues.

Well... If new Mass Effect has a good story (and better ending) - why not? Why Bioware can't create another Shepard? Many of us were disappointed about current ending and for sure, Bioware will not be able to return their credibility in the nearest future, but this fact doesn't mean that they can't create a better game (and the better ending).

I dont know. I am just getting angrier after I read what Chris Priestly had said. I guess I have to find a way to get rid of my love towards ME games and move on other game.

  Everything that Bioware has said lately has made the fans angrier.  They really don't care about what their fans want.  If they did, then they would release an IT post ending DLC.

Speak for yourself, from my point of view IT is a pile of garbage and I hate it. I don't love current ending but IT is just a joke. A complete over-analysis with a mix of fan-fiction and self-love from the fans, people who insist on IT are way more arrogant than Bioware in my eyes. 
The fact that Bioware rushed the game and screwed up the whole finale doesn't suddenly allow people to force their will onto the developers like that.


And I just read that Dragon Age 3 will have no-save import because they can't make it work on Frostbite. If that's the issue with next ME game It really lowers the chance that I'll buy it.

I agree with people who say that Shepard needs to get a proper closure before moving on to the next project.

But since that's not going to happen I would like for ME3's sequel to be about a multi species pioneer exploration team who's mission is to re-activate the Citadel Relay and chart the regions of Dark Sace where Reapers usually hibernate between the Cycles. In other words I would like a Mass Effect equivalent of Enterprise to to boldly go where no man has gone before

This is good news to me. I love Shepard. Shep will always hold a special place in my heart, but after three games w/the same character...it's getting stale.

I want to meet a new character. See the galaxy from a different perspective than space marine.

Honestly, given the divergent outcomes with up to four species going extinct in one playthrough (five counting the Reapers), I don't think a sequel is possible unless they make certain things canon - and who wants that?

. It's ok, BioWare will make Synthesis the canon ending, with Liara as the canon LI, and as for the species survival, it doesn't matter because we wil just bring them back, just like the Rachni.

This was a no brainer, and the Devs did say that ME3 was going to be the end of Shepard's tale.

If it is going to be a forth game, with all the possible endings that are in ME3, who knows what it could be like.

I wish that ME3 actually had ended Shepard's story. It didn't. It had an insulting cliffhanger.
