And option 1 is only available for PC users.
I think that we'll be able to skip the DA 3 intro, though. It was possible in DA:O and in DA 2 we had to go through that prolouge mostly to make a point. That there is a story about the Champion out there, but that Varric is one of the few who know the truth.
So unless they plan to do another narration, which is unlikely, I don't think the intro will be unskippable.
I wish I could share your optimism. Granted, I did not think about inability of Xbox users to work with separated CC. Still, DA2 example scares me and since we have already so many features from DA2 announsed for DA3, Prologue before CC can be there too.

Better beards for the character creator would be nice as well.
Beards that can adjust to customized facial structures would be nice. I didn't like having default pouty lips always in the same spot on the face if I used a beard. Also, the full beard facial structure was pretty gaunt, especially on humans and meant that sideburns often didn't actually connect to the character's cheeks, looking really bad at some angles.
There's a reason I used stubble instead of full beards.

why not add the CC before the game comes out? then we can make the char before hand then import it into the game then just start killing things with sticks

A very good queston! And exactly what I hope to get for DA3.

DA:O released the cc instead of a demo, I'd welcome that.Amirit wrote...

Fully support. This was especially annoying in ME2 when I wanted to make different characters. For DA2, I am happy I have it on the PC so I can cheat my way to the CC, but yes. If the introduction to the game is completely useless to someone who has already played it (i.e. champion Hawke intro, ME2 intro) give us the option to skip it. For cutscenes please let us skip those as well. I know you worked hard on them, BioWare, but if I've already watched it 3 times I don't care to watch it again.
