bugger that i want all 5 slots to be the hurricane so i get a lvl 5 and get to see why everyone else wont put theres down

especially since i now have ot wait for the ticket to get resolved

We are just pushing out a change for the help page that should fix your problem. Sometimes we don't get all the required fields written out to our database on PlayStation but we've got a workaround. I'll message you when it is ready.

So, quite a bunch of us, including me, didn't get the recommendation packs for last weekend's horribly taxing and difficult challenge. Please notice the irony, for the 'challenge' was a joke.
So, what all-important thing didn't we get _yet_? A chance to get a weapon (that most of us won't even use that regularly) on, let's say, IV instead of III? Uh, yeah, sure, that's a good reason to go all bloodrage here.
Honestly now. The ME3 multiplayer is a FREE service to us players (unless you decide to spend real money on packs - your funeral). The folks at BW/EA responsible for keeping it fresh and running basically are doing all of us a free-of-charge favor. We just got the biggest update of that said multiplayer experience, again: for free. And remember: in those days, beta-testing can't find all the problems, so with new stuff, Bugs Are To Be Expected.
So cool your jets, get back to a civil level, and, for goddess/spirits/almighty bosh'tet's sake, stop raging about not getting those packs as quickly as you thought you'd do.
People are working to get things done, and they don't deserve some of the community acting like some spoiled five year old. Being disappointed is alright, but don't blow this out of proportion.

Cool story. BW is appreciated for all they've done for the game. It's just messed up that the people who completed it early didn't the commendation packs except a few lucky people the gave it out to friday evening. Just doesn't make sense it's taking this long to get the packs out.

You see, some of us, despite doing every single operation, still do not have one of the commendation weapons. For me, it's not about the hope of leveling something up. It's about the hope that I might finally get a Valiant after 15 packs of Not-Valiants.

Yes, it is mildly annoying, but nothing more. Remember, it was a weekend. The folks at BW deserve their time off like all the rest of us, and so the bug will be fixed when the get back to work. About not making sense, we (ok, most) players don't really have a grasp about how complex the coding/bug-finding involved is.
And next time, the problem will hopefully be fixed and none of us will lose a thought about this problem.
Again, what's the great deal of not getting the recommendation packs yet? It's not as if anyone would be at a great disadvantage because of it.

Yeah, that sucks, and I admit I'd feel disappointed too if I hadn't been lucky in the past.
But my point is this: you WILL get that chance to get your Valiant as soon as they fix the prob, and with  all the other cool portable artillery pieces readily available, I just can't see why some people make such a fuzz about the whole item. Being disappointed is one thing, but are borderline insults, accusations of incompetence and the general level of angry impatience really neccessary?

Probably because this is the umpteenth bug that has come out of this game. One bug is excusable. A few bugs are understandable. 6,573 bugs and now we have a problem. I'm a little irritated because this bug occurred to those of us who did the operation the earliest. Our reward? Wait 3-5 days while everyone else gets it instantly.

yeah same. Operation is marked as successful on N7HQ. But the help says "

Your account has not been granted a
commendation pack for this operation. "

I'm guessing it's an issue with how that page is worded. It seems like it's supposed to be an indicator as to whether or not your account was already granted one or not, instead of it being a denial/rejection.   This seems to be why the request review button shows up on the same screen.

Least that's my interpretation of it.  The wording on the site points to Bioware reviewing the case within a 2 day window instead of instantly telling you yes/no based on a quick click and login.

The real answer should hopefully be at a later date after the review.

You're right, about this being mildly irritating.  I had my share of heavy sighs when encountering a bug in-game. Not enough of them to spoil my experience, though, or else I wouldn't have poured all those hours into plaing the multiplayer.
But read some of the posts people wrote the last few pages because of this particular bug. That amount of vitriol is unneccessary.
And come on. Waiting a few days is not really worth getting all riled up like some other posters do - in the end, we're talking about a (did I mention free?) game here. And the folks at BW are trying to fix the thing, throwing all that crap at them is needlessly overreacting.
