I got the notification that I'd completed it, did not visit N7HQ today, and did not get the pack.

I had the game running when the event started. But to be safe, I exited and re-entered multiplayer before trying it, though I still did not see the splash screen. I did the challenge anyway and got the notification after the match.

I know you said to sit tight; I'm just including the info for your own troubleshooting purposes, and I'm curious what the N7HQ has to do with it. And thank you for getting after this issue so quickly.

You had to visit the HQ at least once before then (any time), because the data of it being completed is easily accessible through the N7HQ but if you havent visited it, we dont pull the data.

Visit the N7HQ. Then wait for few hours. I still don't have mine either.

i got mine by doing three rounds on fire base white reapers the thing is you need melee kills that mean charging and connecting with the gun, i had 50 biotic charges kills and 50 melee kills so that may be why its not triggering for some people because the game is looking for those melee kills not biotic charge kills.

but yes i got my eagle 4 as of now trying to get the group one for others came close in a game with beerfish, i assume that was you beerfish on the xbox?

the squad goal is tough one due there never enough to go around to get the 50 kills for the squad

The squad goal doesn't even work. It didn't for me and my friend. Plus, did the challenge 2 times because it didn't work for my friend. I let my friend get the melee kills first at second time and then raced to get mine. Heh.

I still don't get what visiting the website has to do w/ anything. I completed the challenge a couple of hours ago, got a notification saying I completed the weekend challenge, but didn't get my pack. I come here, read that--for some wild reason--I have to visit the N7HQ and then wait. Okay... so, I do that, but there's no mention of anything there, there's 2 missing icons in the "challenges recently completed" section, & on top of the page, it's telling me that "Operation Bloodlust is in effect, you have 64:04:43 remaining to complete the challenge." 

Does that mean I have to do it over again? I don't want to do it over again -- I did it once & was notified that I completed it. So again, what's the point of me going to N7HQ???

I'm pretty sure that it didn't pop up for me. I definately did the challenge though, because I got the gold melee medal, and when I go into the challenges it says that I completed 'Operation Blood lust'. It's just showing up as an unloadable icon on the N7HQ though. Gopefully I'll get the pack soon.

Ah right, my bad. I still don't remember seeing it, but I probably just missed it. Thanks for the clarification.
