Do any of you guys roleplay any of your characters on your personal accounts, like have some sort of backstory or personality in mind for some of your favorite kits?
Or am I the only Drunk Turian Sentinel and Heavy Metal Havoc?
This does remind me of a funny story. The man who voiced our krogans was playing one day during development.
He started saying things like (and imagine it in the Krogan voice): "Hah! That's using your head! Get it? Head? Er...well, that's fresh where I'm from."
Had me laughing pretty hard.
In some ways, yes, I do try to think of how my characters might think and behave.
Is there any chance we can get new audibles like this in some upcoming DLC, or has that been ruled out as a possibility?

Thanks for taking the time to answer all our questions.
First question: When y'all were developing ME3 MP pre-launch, were y'all planning this many DLC's, or were y'all just gonna see how it went and keep investing time in it if it went well? I'm not asking about future NDA [censored] stuff, just the mindset pre-launch. It seems that with the addition of th N7HQ and challenges, y'all expect the MP to last a while longer.
Second, you have already said a few times that the store is not in your area, and not allowed to comment on it. Who could we contact, or PM, if we had suggestions or questions?
Thanks!
First: We had dlc ideas on the burner but were pleasantly surprised by its success. I can't really say much more beyond that.
Second: I know the people involved with the store read the forums but do not actively discuss it. Know that you are being heard (read).

What tips do you have for anyone that wishes to enter in the gaming industry?

How do you guys take the debates on here?
I made a thread recently in which I claim in a humorous fashion the incompetence of our dealings with PUGs incompetence. I admit it looks like a story thread, but the concept is in there.
Would locking it create an undesirable image on your company?
What dictated the size of the maps, and why exclude a map size that allows for more strategic(versus tactical) implementation of kits? Elcor are perfect for that, considering their ability to carry powerful machines. I assume you guys did not know how successful MP would be and did not want to risk specialized classes, also AI networking? Does that influence the spawn budget and position, by the way? Besides influencing map size?

Why do you guys at bioware hate the N7 Eagle so much? It has high recoil, slow rate of fire, low damage, it's terrible...
I actually like the Eagle. For pure DPS, it is one of the highest for pistols. Used from cover, it's recoil is negligible. Plus, it's a caster weapon...extremely light.

First off, thanks for taking the time to do this.
Alrighty that said, are there any plans to ever allow us to possibly dim Geth Hunter mode? I know it's been around for a bit but there are still times when its hard to quickly locate objective targets and at times it still does cause a bit of eye strain.
Sorry if it's been asked already.
I do know this has been passed on to the team but I do not know where it stands. This is above my pay grade, unfortunately.

Have you ever considered giving bonus XP/Points for playing races on their home planets? Just finished playing Firebase Jade as a Salarian and thought it would be a cool little thing. And maybe even a bigger bonus the more players on the team are using characters from that planet as well?
Thinking off the top of my head, if you had 1 Krogan on Firebase Giant everyone would get 2.5% extra, if you had 2 Krogans you could get 5% extra, See where I'm going.
I've always liked the idea of little details like this being implemented, but thanks for answering all our questions

And is there any chance of them being added in the future.

Has the team considered adding armor pieces to give stat bonuses (like in the single player game)? It would be like the current weapon customization options...where a weapon attachment can alter the color, appearance, & give bonus/penalty. Say for example the ability to give the Krogan Sentinel a helmet option that gives him a bonus to melee & shields, but slows him down a bit.
Question two is in regards to the Commendation Pack for Operation Bloodlust. I completed the operation shortly after it started. Still haven't received my pack even though I created a review ticket. Is there anything that can be done to correct this for me?

Hey Derek,
If you ever add another quarian, could she wear alternate Tali's armor from From Ashes? That Darth Vader oneIt would be awesome.
I can pass it along. Not sure it will happen though. We like to keep the SP characters unique.

Does that reflect the team's realization of the appreciation and success of multiplayer? In that you guys know you can safely create more specialized classes versus the original characters and the resurgence characters?

Derek, i think it´s great what you are doing here =)
My question has a something to do with this past weekend challenge, that required a Krogan.
We have 12 common characters, 6 uncommon, and almost 30 rare!
Don´t you think that´s unbalanced, and well, unfair? What i mean is, didn´t you guys ever think about the possibility of moving, at least the older kits, to a lower level, so they would be easier to get? Like, "downgrading" some kits from rare to uncommon?
The team is constantly watching these numbers. It does fall into the store realm though so I can't really comment much further than that.

Okay here is a odd question...
Have you ever shot a firearm in real life and if so which do you prefer... also if you want you can compare them to a Mass Effect weapon just for fun.
(You don't actually need to have fired a weapon, but based on opinions you can just say which one is your favorite and why)
I will compare an AK-47 and an M-16.
The classic matchup!
For me I highly prefer the AK-47 because it was buffed so much that they never jam, and can shoot through like 4 freaking concrete blocks. I would compare it to a Harrier with both Pierce mods.
M-16 on the other hand has had its reliability nerfed like 30 years ago and they never fixed it back.
I would compare it to the Avenger, but the Avenger doesn't jam.
I served 20 years in the Canadian Forces. Yes, I am familiar with a variety of weapons.
I prefer the accuracy and weight of the C-7 which, is basically a Canadian modified version of the M-16. The AK is still weighty and cumbersome by comparison.

If to clarify, then whoever loves their Vorcha so much they could be best friends could simply have their vorcha's personality and/or character adjust to avoid arguments?

Hello Derek,
First and foremost, thank you for doing this. Is it possible for an ingame mute option to be added via a later patch? I know it' s minor compared to many other concerns, but still it' d be nice.
I like where this is headed.
Sorry if this sounds ignorant, but what do you mean by that? I hope I didn' t come across as offensive or mean, like I' m the kind of person who just wants to immidiately mute everyone in the lobby as soon as he joins. Also, thanks for the reply.
Haha, nah. I just feel your pain sometimes.

I appreciate the answer either way. I hope the "store-guys" take a nice look at the numbers, cause Rare is getting overcrowded lol
Again, thanks for taking the time to answer =)

First question, are you guys aware of the disappearing credits bug(leaving a lobby very shortly after game ends, losing the credits for it) and if so, anything you can say about a fix?
Second question, is there a technical difficulty with allowing us to move around our powers in MP like we can in SP? For example, moving around Tech armor on Sentinels to the 3rd or 4th slot so you don't accidently purge it.
Edit: Quick 3rd question: Thoughts on Quarian Adepts?

Hi again, Derek! Thanks for the answers earlier. About the text chat- would it be possible to do an internal bump on that issue when you have a minute, and get back to us with the response? It's a pretty frequently requested feature.
One other question: There are a lot of player suggestions for characters, maps, weapons, even entire DLC sets posted here. Is there any chance devs could occasionally comment on such suggestions, and give feedback to help shape them into reasonable ideas--maybe even directly implement a community-suggested feature?
Thanks!
Sorry, there are numerous legal issues I have to skirt on these questions. Text chat has been brought up to the people who can comment on it.
Community suggestions are terrific but run into intellectual property issues for implementation.
