Hopefully they are not the majority. However, very well written Ernest and I agree 100%. I have not yet seen a game where so much mulitplayer content is free, and something new is added all the time. Please keep up the good job, because I believe the majority of players really appreciates and enjoys what you guys are doing! Greetings from Germany!Ernest Tse wrote...

But you should not only look at the posts that blame BioWare for whatever cause and are immature, disrespectful and inconsiderate.
You also should look at all the positive, enthusiastic, even loving feedback given to BioWare in a lots of other threads. These should easily outweigh the negative ones, so that the latter should be neglegible.
But it is clear that you cannot negate these, if they appear in one of the threads you are responsible for. And it is also clear that the fact that one of your tasks is to give us news on banned persons per se has a high probability that it will result in critics as well.
I nevertheless think it is the more necessary for you and those BioWare employees with tasks that will not always result in pure joy from the perspective of the gamers to socialize with your fans through these forums because only by talking to us you can make yourself understood better, more of the iceberg can be seen and by exchanging facts quite some persons would stop whining and complaining as they are doing now.
I <3 BioWare and its employees who bring us so much fun, diversity and fresh stuff on an ongoing basis!

Actually, I do often see good forum posts here and there, I guess I should have mentioned that. Some of them fun and funny, some supportive, some creative, and some well thought out and critical. I've seen quite the variety.
I guess, like you implied, the posts about cheating and banning usually start out with a negative connotation, which leads to a lot of negative posts.

Everything seems easy unless you're the one who has to do the task. I'm sure if you went to the work or school of some of these posters and made the same expectations of their work that they ask of you, they would be full of excuses and denial over the issues. You however give great answers with logical reasoning, hats of to you and the rest of the team!

Asked someone to leave a gold game yesterday for glitching and while loading a lobby I overheard 3 of the players were wanting to go glitch on platinum I exited before they could kick me - I don't mind if they glitch by themselves as long as they don't improve their rankings or get anything for doing so.

Had a glitcher(i think?) in a game yesterday . 3 of us in game, i joined about wave 3 or 4, could have sworn there was a 4th person in there too?!!
Kept getting assists on kills at a spawn point when the 2 other ppl where on the other side of the map tackling the other spawn point? Seen the occasional BP appear out of thin air beside me, was weird. A bit creepy too tbh. :/
As i said, 3ppl in game right up to (partial) extraction, all 3 'visible' players in circle, so i'm not sure if i was seeing things or the glitcher left b4 or wasnt paying attention at the end. But something or someone was blocking the 4th player slot?
My question is this, i joined with some serious consumables that i didn't want to waste (phasic 3, etc), so once extraction was complete , i left immediately. Does this make me guilty by association? I was not cheating (dont know how and wouldn't if i did) and as i said above, i might have been seeing things. Couldn't see their name so cant report them obviousl
Anyone ever seen this?
I have seen a similar thinh happen.
I was on X box and I joined, but the game said I was alone. I got some kills in but loads of enemies were dying via striker assault rifle far faster than it can kill. Eventually two others showed up and we extraxted.

I sent an email and Ernest replied by saying it is an exploit, but not one that can get you banned.Nero Narmeril wrote...

Didn't someone from BW say this isn't exploiting?

You know that could very well be legit, right? The original capacity was 10, and there was no limit on the respec cards for awhile. Just saying.udinbak4 wrote...
Also contributed. Saw cobra missile capacity at 10, and over 80 reset power cards.

How does one get an unfair advantage over a game that has no PVP? Cheating is wrong I agree. But vs the AI? Please put PVP in this game.
1: No PVP. How would that even work? Just no.
2: So you think somebody getting 1 hit kills using an exploit is wrong, BUT not if it's against AI?
It ruins the game for the people who don't want to do it, and lets those who do get easier credits, meaning they can work less to gain the same amount of achievment. All of that is how one get's an unfair advantage.

And it doesn't make any money for EA, i'm sure that is a major reason also.

Good to hear that !
I hope we'll be informed when this becomes ban issue...
It does get that objective very easy, but it's kinda fun.

What do you mean by this?
You are saying that there are plenty of players with cobra capacity at 10?
Regarding reset buttons, I bought millions of credits, and every time the max number was 3. The moment I got one of these cards to 3 they would stop respawning.
This player also has over 200 Cyclonic modulator cards (III, and IV), and regular consumables are always at 255.
I still got no reply from bioware.

Not a cheater. The respec card capacity was capped at 3 a while back, and they also capped the total number of consumable capacity increases to 5. There are some players with capacities of 10 for missiles, medi-gel, ops survival packs, and thermal clip packs.
Over 200 fits right into the 255 cap, doesn't it?

I play differently and more conservatively, I take more advantage of cover and have tweaked my builds and pack purchase style to better improve my playing. I take advantage of nova-cancel, heavy-melee revives and reload-cancelling when appropriate but don't make them core mechanics of my playstyle since I expect they will be patched one day.
Gone back to my roots and have become pretty entrenched into the engineer, also finally gotten myself off my addiction to the mattock and now using a phaeston instead until I unlock better.
Currently just buying packs in order until I max all the weapons of each level. I still have 80BW points sitting here from my ME2 DLC days, not sure I want to spend them on a vet pack though.
I do notice however that I'm still getting gear that I don't use because it's not useful to me. It would be neat if we had a 'reduce to medigel' option.
All in all, while I wish I hadn't cheated in the first place, I'm a bit glad I did since Bioware made money from it (Banning me so I then purchase a new copy of ME3) and it's given me much more enjoyment from playing the game legitimately.
Also you're welcome to hate on me, but I'll still revive you if I see you ingame.

I cheated on my collectors edition used a thirdparty program to cheat credits then spam packs unlock everything at the coercion of friends, paid the price and got banned. But I also learnt from it and appreciate the game more now.

I can't see that happening with any right thinking individual. Seems like you learned your "lesson" and turned a negative experience into a positive. I think that is damned admirable. Congratulations good sir! Well done.
