laws are funny things. there are some wonderful lws everyone can agree on ..... theft, assault, rape, murder ...... then there are some squishy ones...... vice crimes, drugs, prostitutiom.... whatever you can say bout those people also doing, those crimes, in and of themselves, are on rather shakey ground........ i seem to doubt those are the individuals you are talking about.... but it does good to remember that laws dont define write and wrong. they attempt to mirror right/wrong in the best cses, and are a means of populace control in the worst. history has seen truly evil laws at some times and places.... and many today .... like drug crimes getting stiffer penalties than violent crimes ...... seem expecially draconian. but im getting off topic. there are soft forms of cheating ..... private cheating, minor cheating.... the kinds that dont outright ruin the fun of everyone else. i hope bioware is more leniant in those cases.... but then infinite missile glitch and the like are another case entirely. that is deliberately disregarding four other people. it has much more in common with theft fruad and violent crime than it does with the ...victimless... vice crimes.Jerramie wrote...
As a former police officer,I ran into people who broke the rules all the time. And the one overarching truism that all these people had in common was their narcissistic sense of victimization. Their actions were always the result of someone and/or something's else's causation. They never accepted responsibility for their actions and never showed any remorse. Just like the cheaters ****ing here on this forum. And yes, I did just compare video game cheaters to criminals. Because criminality is a personality mindset and character defect. And rather it is breaking a traffic law, stealing another's property, or even cheating in a video game so as to gain easy credits to get items from the store that is not deserved, there is not fundamental difference. From a personality stand point that is. And even from a legal standpoint. Cheating to gain undeserved credits is nothing more then a soft core form of theft.

Cool less cheaters just don't ban me if i fail to spot a cheater in a match, i already only play one or two missions with random players because of this crazy bioware logic
This is what I'm paranoid about. I don't think I've ever played with a cheater, at least not that I'm aware of. I would hope I'd recognize them when I see them, but I'm not so sure.

We deserve a decent mp
Just saying...
It is decent though... either way, if you think it's not or think you have to cheat ot make it decent, why would you even play it ?
First of all, I don't cheat. Second, it is not decent. Third, if it were decent then why do we have three or four patches that say "fixed the infinite Missile Launcher exploit" or "this fixes an infinite Missle Launcher exploit."? They still haven't fixed enemies shooting when they are not supposed to and enemies that have been cheating. Well, I guess they don't cheat, they only do what they are programmed to do. I guess that makes it all right.
You never answered the previous poster's question. Why do you even play it? Why would you go onto a board for fans of a game and directly tell everyone how you don't like it? Seems like a waste of time to me. I get that not everything is perfect about the game but I can't say that about any game.
BioWare has done a commendable job communicating specifics to fans of the game and they are under no obligation to do so. People like you make the developers not want to post here because you're just negative. You're ruining this board for everyone else that enjoys it. Sound familiar??? You're the missile glitcher equivalent on this board and have become the very thing you're complaining about.
If I go to the gym everyday and I play at that gym with my friends but complain to the owners of the gym that they need to fix the floors cause they to dirty and we are getting stuck on them or fix their goals cause they are dangerous yet I keep going their cause I like hanging with my friends, it's my fault that the owner didn't fix their stuff? I play the multiplayer not because it's a great multiplayer but because I love playing with my friends and I love the characters. Not the multiplayer. The multiplayer, if it were anything else, I prolly wouldn't even waste the time to write on this board. People who know me know that if I am still around dealing with crap with people or even things, then I care enough to deal. If I don't, I'll leave... simple as that. Answer your question, Aloren?

Thankfully when the newest cheat comes out, someone will post it on the forums. At least then we all know what to look for. One of the reasons the striker has been a black list weapon for so long.

So BioWare still cares about cheaters at this point in time, but they take months to even put out patches.
I think they have their priorities wrong. You're supposed to actually try to fix the exploits instead of banning everyone that uses them. That seems counterproductive and it's making the MP community smaller and smaller, a luxury that ME3 doesn't really have compared to bigger titles like Call of Duty.
The sad part is is that I'm getting to the point where I might not even come back after a few weeks. I mean, I was only gonna leave for Bioshock and come back but the way things are going now, I might just stay gone. Everyone is okay with someone buying a game, letting a company decide how they play the game (modding is different), and that company banning them from playing a game they bought; while the company doesn't take the time to make one or two patches that fixes exploitable things instead of four or five patches while creating new exploits. It's like telling a kid he can't have any candy yet constantly dropping the candy in his hands and at his feet. I'd rather the servers be down for a week and the stuff everyone complains about to be fixed than several patches and the community going, "Cheaters suck. I've never cheated in my life-- I mean with this game." It's sickening.

there's plenty of people who cheat on the leaderboards. I know 5 guys who do nothing but missile glitch that are above me on the PS3 leaderboards
i don't think they care about keeping leaderboards legit.
