I damn well hope not. Why does everything need freaking vampires? They're even more overplayed than fantasy standards like elves and dwarves, which is no mean feat.

There are literally millions of other creatures from folklore and myth that virtually nobody is using.

Twilight and simmilar stuff has ruined vamps for me, I`m afraid. Werewolves are getting close to that fate too.

While I loathe Twilight's vampires, at least they have their canines where they should be. When I saw a screenshot of a True Blood's vampire, I laughed hard.

Down in the section about demons of hunger. Living hosts possessed by demons of hunger become vampires or cannibals.

I'd rather see cyclops, hydras, kelpie, minotaurs, centaurs, or, you know, more dragons and/or griffins, before I see vampires in the DA universe.

Nah, was underwhelmed by dawnguard and would rather have new things (such as crazy/mad/epic Tevinter mages and things).

Vampires in Thedas are just living non-Mages possessed by a Hunger Demon.
