Twilight and simmilar stuff has ruined vamps for me, I`m afraid. Werewolves are getting close to that fate too.
Don't worry my friend, Kain saw Twilight and... fixed that problem

Grotesque and monstrous vampires that are more similar to the vampires of medieval legend would be a lot more interesting than the more recent Hollywood version.

I don't see any reason why we can't have all of themFINE HERE wrote...
I'd rather see cyclops, hydras, kelpie, minotaurs, centaurs, or, you know, more dragons and/or griffins, before I see vampires in the DA universe.

Almost sounds like Turel from the LOK series...Urzon wrote...
If there are ever vampires, i don't want them to look anything like humans. I want something like a cross between a leech, bat, and abomination that goes around riping out the jugular or hearts of its victims.

Take the ugly stick to it a couple times, to make it look more like an abomination....
Replace the brown furry skin with more of a slick jet black like a leech...
And to add a more horror qualitly... Maybe make its tongue ripe open to reveal a leech sucker filled with razor sharp canines, to get to those people just out of reach.
We could have a winner though

Perhaps taking blood magic will give the option to deal with a hunger demon.

I damn well hope not. Why does everything need freaking vampires? They're even more overplayed than fantasy standards like elves and dwarves, which is no mean feat.

Why does everything have to have vampires? Yeah DA universe has mythical creatures but... well they implemented werewolves very well in my opinion. Maybe if they did it right... I don't know!

Everything magical or supernatural should ultimately link back to the fade or its denizens.
