Well, not really the game, it is awesome from what I've seen. The technical difficulties just break it.
Why the hell am I so pissed off at the moment?
Well, it all started the moment I got my copy of DAO. I tried to install the game from the CD and BAM, a certain error has occured and the installation could not be finished. I tried to install the game 3 times before getting tired of installing. Note: It slowed down my whole pc and one install try took at least 15 minutes.
So I beginn searching the internet. It seems that several other people have the same problem as me, they cannot install from the CD. There seems to be an issue with extracting or something, well it makes it impossible to install.
I STILL haven't seen a fix for this (if yes, please point me to it). How long is this game out, a month already? One month and a great deal of buyers cannot even install the game AT ALL?!!
Thats the worst game support I've ever seen and hell, I've played Borderlands in Multiplayer.
That's like going into a shop, buying the copy, inserting the CD and it just doesnt work?!
I did actually find a solution to the problem. I could still download it with the EA download manager. Of course it took hours, but its better than doing nothing. But imagine if someone doesn't have internet connection? How screwed would he be?
So I could install the game now at least. The next step is playing it. After 15 Minutes already I realize that there seems to be a loading error and the models of the npcs "glitch" somehow and, its really hard to describe, their textures are being torn apart somehow and streched.
Restarting the game solved it.
The next problem was a "screen-flickering". Via the internet I found out aswell that the quickest solution would be to alt-tab out and in again. Just once out of ten times I get a bluescreen while alt-tabbing...
This whole process to make the game at least "playable" is already horrendous. But the now the real ****storm started. While having played until Loithering I wanted to exit the chantry and the game just CRASHES. Sometimes with the option to send an Error Message to Microsoft and sometimes without anything at all.
So from here on the game is broken. I tried to load an autosave from earlier, namely just entering Loitering half an hour earlier. Now not even that works anymore. I dont seem to be able to load a game at all, it just randomly crashes.
I still haven't seen a fix for this issue aswell, so I suppose the only solution for my problem would be to reinstall the whole game.
This would mean:
Deinstall everything
Make a backup from your saves
Redownload the whole game
and install it again.
Is there really no solution to any of my problems above?
Im not even counting the "unability to connect to the dragon age servers" to which I've found only a "port-opening-solution" which doesnt even seem to help everybody.
This is Bioware goddamnit, why is the support lacking this much?I just bought the game and I got such issues?
I played The Elder Scrolls Oblivion and that game was the worst tech-wise yet with crashes and all, but at least the devs fixed it somehow later.
I know this is much whining and I should keep in mind, that its still holidays but I'm just really pissed off of this game because of those month old issues which still haven't been fixed.
Help is appreciated

Maybe you can start a petition. Otherwise, you'll just have to let things fix themselves.

OP yes they shipped out a very unpolished game to say the least this game could of been EPIC
but with all the issues taking away some cred .It will never reach that status. They still have a chance if they do a DOA 2 . But they rushes the game out just for Christmas shopping PERIOD.
It appears EA has tainted yet another game company.
ps check the forum search there are hundreds of things that might help . the one i would suggest off the top of my head is setting the affinity for the game
