This may be a newb question, but has anyone else noticed a green "+1" next to their Willpower stat in the online profile? I pumped my Willpower to 15 and Magic to 20, but am seeing:

Willpower: 15 +1
Magic: 20

Thought it may be the Lucky Stone ring, but wasn't that +1 to all stats? Just curious whether this is a bug or a perk that I'm unaware of.

No, that's probably the racial bonus.

Humans are +1 str, +1 magic, +1 dex, +1 cunning - so that's not it.

Might be a stat bonus from your Robes.

Dalish Rogues get a similar +2 to Dexterity.

I have to say i had not noticed before, but yes, the Dalish Elf Rogue does indeed have a +2 to Dexterity. As it is not strictly a racial thing, it could be either from gear or an actual Origins bonus, which may make some sense.

Oh, It was just a guess anyway. Maybe it's the clothing...

I'm guessing you start with an item with that bonus. Dalish warriors get +1 dex I think.

Two of my other characters are now up and the Mage gives a +1 bonus to willpower, the same as the CP of this thread, while my City Elf gains no additional bonus at all, just what i stated, so there is every possibility this has something to do with the Origin itself.

Do we have any Human Nobles or Dwarves out there to compare what they have?

I am pretty sure it is just a bonus from some of your clothing.

If you check correctly, dalish have a set of armor with the dalish gloves, boots and armor. The human mage as an apprentice robe that probably give +1 willpower.

You would have thought it would have stated that on the clothing though.

I've seen a dev character (level 22) earlier and it wasn't written on his clothing and he had +20 constinution or something. He also had more than +10 in all the other stats.

From Stanley Woo at the other forums:

If the stat is green, it means it's being enhanced by something, probably an equipped item.

Seems all characters get some kind of bonus from their starting equipment. At first I was a bit sad my human noble rogue didn't have any green + after any stat, but reading the descripton of the armor I realized she got another bonus instead - lower stamina cost for using talents.

I've got a human noble warrior, no green stat increases but the studded leather armor description says it gives a bonus to your armor.

Mages and Dailish Elves (both warriors and rogues have the armor) get stat bonuses. All the others get different bonuses. Human Rogues get a -activate time while all warriors seem to get + armor.

At least we no the starting set of armor is more than just a piece of cloth you replace after you kill your first humanoid.

If you check the descriptions for the worn items, you'll see it is the leather boots that give the bonus. At last that's for my character (Human Mage).

Can't see any boni on the dwarf noble armour. However, it reads that it's "better than most anything found on the surface", so it probably has more armour to begin with

Actually those leather boots go with the other leather items that the rogue gets and would offer the -activate time in the full set. Since the robes do not have a description and that is the only other thing I have to assume that the robes give the +1 Will power.

I'd put money on it being a bonus from the Robe.
