Based on what I've seen regarding their origin, I'm surprised a female city elf rogue (or warrior for that matter) starts off with anything other than just clothing. The male version I could MAYBE buy considering that they organise a rescue party to rescue the captive women.

Maybe they start off with it as their base (since default equipment seems to be the same no matter what gender) , then are stripped of armour and weapons when they get abducted.
That would make sense to me, anyway.

At least we no the starting set of armor is more than just a piece of cloth you replace after you kill your first humanoid.
Awesone, that is nice.
Better then starting with some piece of cloth that barely is useful for more then covering the character.

I guess that would depend on what happens after the guy gets knocked down with a tankard. If you get taken away at the wedding, I'm not sure you'd be packing heat, if you get my meaning.
