I like ME3. It has its faults, one major one in particular. But I still like it.

I love everything about this Trilogy.  My husband is sick to death of me playing through the 3 games as many times as I have but I always manage to find something new each play through. Watching the differences on Youtube is not the same as actually playing through yourself. The Bioware team has put a lot of time and effort into this wonderful world and I truely appreciate all their hard work. You're dead wrong. I have over 900 hours between ME1 and 2. I know every single line of dialog and exactly which convo choice branches to what other one. I have about 20 hours in ME3 because the horrid ending destroyed the entire series for me. 

Hey, if you just bebopped along not paying any attention to the story, then good for you. Those of us that actually did pay attention to the story realised that the starchild basically kills the plot of the first two games. Before you fly off the handle, answer me this one question - why did the reapers wait in darkspace for over 1500 years watching Sovereign fly all over the galaxy trying to open the relay when it only took them less than 3 years to fly in manually?

I thought it was pretty self explanatory that the Reapers were infinitely patient and quite happy to bide their time in dark space waiting for Sovereign to open the Citadel relay so they could proceed with the plan that has worked for them for eons instead of the messy haphazard invasion they had to go with in the end.

Note that until Sovereign revealed himself waiting a little longer didn't actually upset the Reapers' plans.

I think there are legitimate things that you might have wanted to see done differently in Mass Effect 3, but for me, the ending really wasn't one of them. I didn't have a problem with the ending and loved the game. I'm a huge fan of Mass Effect 3 (and the series in general). So, I guess, you could classify me as a "non-hater.". I don't have any issues with the "haters" - they are obviously very passionate about the game and feel things should have 'ended' differently. But, at this point, I think we need to support the vision that Bioware/EA had for the game and appreciate the series as a whole!

Ever notice how a majority of people who insult others for not liking the endings always use the "sunshine and rainbows" rationale?

Many have said the same thing, you've just been selective in pointing out people, which happens on both sides of the argument, does it not? 

But I agree, I do like the game and certain aspects, I just wish it came out a few months or even a year later to really development key things to it's fullest... and to make auto-dialogue more minor, like in ME2.  That's the main flaw for me and well, lack of ME2 character treatment.

I feel I should stress that I don't find Mass Effect 3 to be a bad game. It's a good game with some parts of genuine greatness like Tuchanka, Rannoch and Liara's time capsule. However, when I say "good" I mean in that generic, run-of-the-mill, "good enough" sense that most triple-A releases are.

Thank you kindly, but what I am getting at is how conversations tend to turn into arguments fueled by anger.  I don' t want to be the pebble that starts that paticular avalanche.  Not to mention this thread has been derailed enough as it is.

It's because they ignore all the points they can't refute and jump to this overused, latest grasping-straw conclusion. I wouldn't take too much stock into what this guy says anyway. He sounds too whiny to be logical.

Well it wouldn't be your fault, your post basically described how most of us are about ME3. None of hates the game or think its really bad, but we feel that Bioware could have don't better
