Ashley can't seem to activate Marksman in battle--she just stands there with her omni tool and you can hear Marksman activate over and over again. This only happened after the recent patch. Any way to fix this?

PS3 btw.

Are you using it binded to the key or opening the power menu and activating it?

I always would have to Manually activate it for her.

I never had to do anything, she would just activate it on her own and fire the Particle Rifle like a madwoman. She does absolutey nothing now. She just hides in cover and activates Marksman repeatedly. It's definitely a bug that was introduced by the patch.

She does the same here, but it's her concussive shot that is stuck.

On a semi-related note. Does Marksman do the Adrenaline Rush auto-reload in SP as well as MP? I tried testing it but it didn't seem to work. Was just wondering if the change made it into SP or just another MP only change.

I believe it is MP only.

I confirm this, PS3 also. It's annoying that it doesn't activate but keep hearing the sound.

it sucks if she has that and the Reverent she is one of the best squad mates but now she is useless to me

I know, she's still a monster with the PPR, Typhoon, and Revenant, but now not as much


I hope Bioware fixes it in the next patch (or sooner)

I never use Marksman on Ashley. She just cant use it in my opinion.

I've always activated marksman manually for Ashley and the recent patch hasn't changed her behavior for me at all. Try turning off automatic squad power use if you can stand micromanaging. Anyway, an Ashley spec'd for damage with a full ROF marksman and a Typhoon is now the squadmate with the highest damage potential in the game. It's a shame to miss out on that if you care about squad performance.

I played though the game already on Normal and destroyed it with Ashley Liara and Tali ( IDK why the girls seam to have a lot more potential in there builds to me) but now several of my tactics that I use to take down Cerberus Heavy mechs, Banshees, and Turrets are all in the crapper because I don't have her for that extra kick of DPS (Damage Per Second if you did not get that) any way really hope they fix it soon

nah it's just silly bug. anyway she is either lying wounded or siting with omnitool. i bet she is watching something there, slacking on a job. I knew i should have leave her with nuke.

Some one mentioned in another post, that if you reassign her powers the omnitool bug goes away. I have not had a chance to try it yet myself.

Loaded up SP for the first time in I don't even know how long on account of MEHEM, and I was getting this too. Incredibly annoying. Even hitting it manually doesn't fix the bug. You can get her briefly back into the fight by manually busting out a grenade or Conc Shot, at which point she'll fire off a few rounds until the cooldown is over and she goes back to fail-spamming Marksman. :/

Got the same issue on my PS3. I thought I would reinstall the game but it probably wouldn't work.
Hope this is one of those instances where BW is listening.
