Not sure how many here can use simple logic, and I'm curious to find out.

Those ones running together is more likely to turn one to the wrong answer then any mistake one could make.

Order of operations on this case: 1:X 2: +/-
Left side: 1+1...=10
Right side: 1x0+5=0+5=5
10-5=5
The answer is 5
Edit: realised the mistake no brackets:
10-1+4=13
My eyes go nuts when i look at that picture, thanks for the poll.

Here's my post for the thread (not including topic)
I know that the answer can be found easily, and I also realize how simple the equation is.
However, most people won't realize how many people will actually get it wrong.
There are very simple reasons why someone will answer this incorrectly, either they didn't look at the equation carefully enough, or they did not follow the correct procedure.

For those who get it right and think this is easy, watch and see how many get this wrong.
Multiple paid studies have shown that around the world 40% of "educated" adults will fail this "simple" test...

I hope you all read carefully. There have already been multiple different answers posted...

P.S. I will post the answer to this equation in a while. And no, I WILL NOT call anyone out if they get it wrong. (Thats why the poll is there, no one needs to know if you don't want to post openly)
