Power re-rank: worse two powers in game ?

Smash. IMO they nerfed this too hard. It's basically a shockwave with a little more damage but with a muuuch longer animation. The squishiness of the class doesn't help matters
pull. Less useful due to the lowered spawns of guardians. Ineffective vs armor and any shielded enemy. Acolyte helps the latter issue but still lackluster

Sabotage and Carnage. Carnage too long cooldown to justify its damage, and Sabotage hack duration is awfully short.
I don't like carnage too, but then again I haven't used it since the buff/patch. Take the backfire evo on sabotage, use it on organics(it works on brutes, ravegers and, banshees too) TC+backfire=dead/mostly dead on silver, finish up with weapon of choice(I'd say anyting but a sniper)

Pull) With the advent of Lash on the Phoenix characters, Pull went from slight usefulness to a wasted power. Lash can do pretty much what Pull can do, and it can pierce Shields and Barriers. Sure, it doesn't leave something hanging there in air, slowly moving, but with enough practice, you can easily yoink something off the map and into oblivion, scoring an easy kill.
Plus, Lash does more damage than Pull, so...
Decoy) This is a more recent "made worthless" power. The original point of Decoy was to be a Decoy, and distract enemies while you can safely shoot them. However, with the recent changes, Melee enemies will now ignore the decoy 100% of the time. Melee creatures include things like the super-obvious Brutes, down to, and probably including, the sneaky Phantoms. And let's not forget, if a Ranged enemy sees you plop down your Decoy, they too will ignore it and shot at you. Kinda hard to make dynamic use of it, if it can be ignored a majority of the time.
More's the pity. My Salarian Engineer was a personal favorite of mine early in the game.
And there are my reasonings for the powers I choose. Actually thought this one through.

Decoy would be at the top of my list for the reasons you mentioned. I, too, loved the Salarian Engineer and the ability to help out teams with Decoy, but those days are done until the power gets adjusted to actually function again as a decoy.JumboWheat01 wrote...

Pull + Reave works wonders on mooks. Plus, Pull can stagger virtually any target, which allows about two seconds to unload in an enemy's face without retaliation.SOG TOUGH wrote...
Pull would be good if it could prime any target for BE
Sabotage Backfire damage makes it more useful against organics than synthetics.Misfiring wrote...

There really isn't any power that I think is terribad, but Smash definitely got a spanking (shame same can't be said for Dragoons). Every power has its uses, some being better than others, though the Phoenix characters are definitely niche/gimmicky.

Because, you know, compared to launch the "hack" portion of the power is next to useless.....and now without the stacking bonuses it should be brought up to 100% tech damage. IMO sabotage needs to be brought back to how it was (or close to it) at launch, with the exception of the backfire damage buffs staying.SixDN9nE wrote...
Lol people obviously don't know about the epicness of sabotage. Not even close to the worst power... 50% more damage from all tech powers, and somehow this is (so far) the number one draft pick for worst power in the game? Incredible...
With power creep as it has been.....even the "at launch" sabotage would not be anywhere near overpowered. Especially with the changes to FBW, the buffs to geth, and the fact that we have platinum now.

Why should i be forced to use backfire damage because its so much better than hack.....the "hacking" needs a buff.Vlandis wrote...

pull is among the best power in the game. acolyte -> pull -> reave -> biotic explosion
In all the time it took you to do all that crap... you could've just shot the mook in the head once or twice and be done with it. That's why Pull sucks... simply shooting a Carnifex at the same target outclasses it.
