Power re-rank: worse two powers in game ?

Pull and Carnage.

Pull needs to be equal to its Lash counterpart and be able to pull through Shielded enemies.
It would also be nice if the Pull Aura remained on Armored Targets regardless if the Pull didn't actually work on them.

Carnage needs a damage increase and an increase to the damage done by the burning after effect.

Carnage is awesome. It does significant damage, looks cool, detonates everything non-biotic, consistently staggers, primes for fire explosions, homes in on it's targets better than other powers, etc. etc.

Carnage is far better than Pull.

They could buff Pull to do 1000 DPS, and Prime Biotic Explosions that do +500% damage and it would still suck... by the time you get the shields off a mook, it's typically dead in 1-2 seconds. How many times have you pulled a target and it died before you could Reave/Charge it (due to team mates usually)?

If Pull is ever to be worth a crap, it has to pierce shields... anything less makes it inferior to a long, long list of Biotic Powers.

Fortification and Blade Armor
Their DR needs to be raised to Tech Armor levels because their utiltiy aside from DR is outclassed by that of Tech Armor

Interesting, pull nowadays receive the same complaints, received by singularity before the patch. Yeap, singularity is spetacular now, but this doesn't mean it wasn't before.

Likewise, just because pull doesn't lift shielded enemies, doesn't mean it's a awful power. Pull it's a useful, even with the Drell Vanguard: staggers even the armored enemies; you can lift a couple of mobs in few seconds just at rank 3; makes the most fast biotic explosions (pull + reave or pull + cluster grenades); etc.

Carnage it's worst power by far, even with the new fire explosions. Cooldown it's too long for a so insignificant damage. It's fun, decent on gold, but horrible on Platinum.

Smash.  IMO they nerfed this too hard. It's basically a shockwave with a little more damage but with a muuuch longer animation.  The squishiness of the class doesn't help matters

pull.  Less useful due to the lowered spawns of guardians.  Ineffective vs armor and any shielded enemy. Acolyte helps the latter issue but still lackluster

The Pull/Reave combo wants a few words with you.

Concussive Shot, unless it gets at least twice affect radius. Than it would be a real crowd control.
Drone, just because it's really hard to throw a drone in a pack of enemies, so when it's suppose to be ready for staggering it's dead long ago =)
Decoy, is not a decoy anymore =)

The problem is that those hardly work anymore. Your target will either:
1) be shot by your local sniper long before the long recharge allows you to use another power
2) sink to the floor and become immune to powers (or simply lose its primer flag, either of those two) long before the long recharge allows you to use another power.

So either it needs its recharge rolled back to its old state, or they seriously got to fix that problem of enemies falling asleep on the ground after stasis, since detonating your stasis is a myth.

The decreased DR for blade armor is kinda countered by the fact that batarians receive something like 75% DR while heavy meleeing, and they naturally have higher base health and shields. Both of the batarian classes are kinda built towards the use of the heavy melee with submission net (self-evident), shockwave (surfing) and ballistic blades (pretty much guaranteed stagger at close range).

I would say though that the utility of blade armor is about equal with tech armor. The number of times tech armor detonations have saved me is probably equal to the amount that blade armor has.

Of course you are. Still, the Atlas turned around, cannoned one mook then sync killed another. Usually they would just stand there looking stupid while being pelted with everything and anything, so they still went down very fast. Still, again, it's best used against organics. I was just responding to Deathshroud's gripe. (By the by, the keyword there was "competent".)

I will grant you that the recharge is obnoxious, but at least it no longer pops into objects and instead bubbles into an open space. Still, I usually just Carnifex them with ease. Asari Adept made grinding Gun Slinger much more bearable.

I can't even think of a time where submission net is more effective than shockwave. Shockwave won't be dodged, and it can stun multiple targets.

You kidding right?

You want some kind of worthless explosion instead of an actual function in combat?

Whoever came up with the idea of the krogan sentinel power set is a genius because after deactivating it with full rage, the melee kills are overkill. I feel so sorry for my victims.

Blade armor actually saves my life a lot more times than I can count. It gives me that extra second from the staggering to get the heck away from that phantom, banshee, brute, husk, and abomination. I haven't played enough to see if it works against the dragoons though but I bet it does.

Plus with the upcoming geth soldier and Batarian brawler, fortification will be super useful for those crazy geth players that like to melee.
The usefulness for blade armor on a vanguard is brilliant. It will literally let you go head to head against a brute, geth prime, scion, and praetorian.

Submission Net is actually pretty good on Gold and under... it actually does pretty good damage too. As an avid Kishock user... I would never put Shockwave on him.

It's pretty satisfying too when an enemy is about to stomp a team mate... and you hit him with the Net when he has his foot up in the air about to stomp your buddy.

really its hilarious looking at some of the powers that people say are worthless on platinum. Platinum performance isnt a good scale for powers the entire setting is bias for powers meant to kill mooks.

Um, you don't spec into Tactical Cloak?
It gives a huge damage bonus, or you can spec it out for duration and still have a minor damage bonus.
Whats not to love? Maybe you don't like sniping?

It's a matter of perspective. If all one plays is Platinum... why should they say a power they can't use is good? If I had my way... all I'd play is Platinum, but it requires 2 more good people... and that can be a tall order at times. I hate Gold... Gold waves 7-9 are just as tough as some Platinum waves... for almost the same effort, you could have double the money. Do people really enjoy waves 1-4 of just ROFL stomping everything like a Bronze game?

I find submission net really useful especially with the aoe shocking effect which basically becomes an Overload that hits every second. If it gets dodged, chances are the net will spring up on the next guy walking by lol

Only issue I have with submission net is that it disappears right after you throw another one.
