No. I imagine the only way it could be satisfying is if I had some sort of self-defeating personality disorder.

But hey...

No, I think the more important personality trait is you have to hate yourself.. Then synthesis will look more appealing. Or control because you can take all that anger out on the rest of the galaxy.

Let's talk crap about everyone who likes stuff we don't! Sion and Jade style!

Really? I don't remember talking crap about people on a personal level like that, because of their opinion on the ending.

Shepard is either the person who sacrificed himself for the greater good of the universe, he created an solution to the created vs creator by giving both the aspect of one-another, nobody is overmatched, everyone is genetically equals, and stronger then before. Or he harnessed and realised the usefulness and utility that the Reapers had, and used it for greater good to restore peace and balance over the galaxy. He watches and protects the galaxy as it's guardian, not as it's harbinger. Tho, he may not re-unite in the form of his former-self, he can still guard and ensure peace through-out the galaxy, through ones the that sought it's demise. Turn bad into good.

Or he was narrow in his thinking, sacrificing the possible lives of the ones he cared about, stabbed them in the back. If you brought peace between the quarians and the geth- you did it all for nought, the solution between the creator and creators was just halted, but it will become an issue once again, and when the time comes- you will have to ineveitably pay the price for the future conflicts, as you were brought forth a resolution to the issue, yet neglected it in your blind hate for the Reapers and the Illusive Mans ideals. Yet, you stayed your course from the initial conflict with Sovereign/Nazara and destroyed the Reapers, but was the cost worth it? Live continues on, but now united, and what has been destroyed, can be rebuilt.

Fixed it for you. You stupid little Indoctrination Theorist scumbag. Can't just admit the literal interpretation is indeed canon at this stage. I thought the denial stage was over at this point.

No, and I'll say what many of you "artsy" and "mature" types won't say out loud. It should've ended with Shepard toasting a can of beer with Garrus and co. over a dead Reaper corpse, then a cut scene of some speech about how we will remember the losses and how we have shown the galaxy that we make our own path.
And finally Shepard heads back to Liara and mentions something of the line of "Now about those blue babies" kiss, fade to black, the end.

Bioware/EA: "We couldn't do that! That's what people were hoping for!"

Trust me EA would've loved an ending like this. It would mean a garantied sequel with Shepard.

I still wonder what exactly the feedback from EA will be now aside from what we have heard so far through job listings and whatnot

Because Bioware can say EA has an hands off policy with them but EA has publicly stated otherwise

I think the relationship is Bioware make the game how they want it to be, but they're subjected to EA's deadline and budgets.

I wish I bookmarked some of your posts because I've definitely seen some pretty personal attacks from you Brovikk. nevertheless. What I said was just my opinion anyway, no need to go spreading it 'round.

Ending was bad, game was disappointing. Studies show 96% agree with this, and these studies are irrefutable, I just cba to quote them.

The clue's in the title. Don't play to be a 'hero', works a lot better then.

Renegade Shepard opts for 'control' and saves everyone......so that they can then ultimately be dominated by herself and her kickass unbeatable Reaper fleet.

Ah, good times.....

if only it ended with shepard being woken up by chakwas on the normandy sr-1 after activating the eden prime beacon, and it turned out it was all a prophetic warning by the protheans on what NOT to do. i think it's the only way the backlash would be bigger, and by extension the comedy value in me's plot.

I think the only playthrough where the endings really work is a no-import Action Mode playthrough.  Where a FailShep keeps getting people killed until in the end he/she's the only one left to toss into the meatgrinder.

That's one way to look at it. There's also the part of doing the impossible and stopping against all odds an eons-long cycle of extinction and guaranteeing the safety and freedom of all species in the Galaxy for the foreseeable future, but, hey!

No, Shepard isnt' trapped in a pile of purgatorial rubble.

Shepard is trapped in the purgatory of eternal fan fiction.

Speculations for everyone. Eternally.

Unless Bioware wants, for instance, to make a game a pure SP experience at which point EA steps in and does not green light the project as stated publicly by EA

....make the game how they want it....right

How do you know Bioware never wanted to include MP in ME 3? It turned out to work quite fine, I had fun playing it for one and it seems quite many do too.

I think that the renegade control is probably the best outcome for the series. I'll have to play ME3 again with "The Terminator" Shepard: the one who killed Samara, purged Feros & shot Shiala, shot Wrex, can't remember who she saved on Virmire (probably Ash, so I'll have to cap her on the Citadel in Cerberus armor). I think the only paragon decision she made was to save the rachni in front of Wrex. We'll continue the tradition. May have to shoot Mordin this time. That will be fun. Definitely will enjoy pumping three rounds into Legion again.

Anyone know what the low EMS Control level is? I'm not interested in the high EMS control.

And for no apparent reason, since his side's won anyway.

Almost makes me want to see Bio make an IT DLC, just to see if a poster's head really can explode.

Actually, didn't the devs say that they wanted to include multiplayer back in ME 2 but decided it didn't make sense back then, so they waited untill ME 3? I thought they said it right after multiplayer mode was revealed.
