No. I imagine the only way it could be satisfying is if I had some sort of self-defeating personality disorder.
But hey...
No, I think the more important personality trait is you have to hate yourself.. Then synthesis will look more appealing. Or control because you can take all that anger out on the rest of the galaxy.
You have failed to look different...
I wish I bookmarked some of your posts because I've definitely seen some pretty personal attacks from you Brovikk. nevertheless. What I said was just my opinion anyway, no need to go spreading it 'round.
It´s now very common to hear people say "I`m rather offended by that". As if that gives them certain rights; It´s actually nothing more... It`s simply a whine. It´s no more than a whine. It has no meaning, it has no purpose, it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. "I am offended by that", well so ****ing what?Eterna5 wrote...

Your opinion is frankly arrogant and offensive. I mean, to say someone must loathe themselves in order to pick Synthesis is perposterous.
I could be offensive in return, but honeslty I'm above that.

because the game was delayed after it hit the feature lock stage to add MP.....
that said we will know for sure when we see more about DA3
Actually, didn't the devs say that they wanted to include multiplayer back in ME 2 but decided it didn't make sense back then, so they waited untill ME 3? I thought they said it right after multiplayer mode was revealed.

think about it.
Bioware NEVER included MP in any game. Suddenly they add it to ME3 as a last minute thing.....shortly after EA brags about not greenlighting any project that does not sport MP
I don't know you but it does not look like a coincidence to me

Then I guess the co-op modes in Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights were just illusions?

In my opinion, that's just semantics. If a game gives you possibilities to play with other people (whelter it's co-op, deathmatch, horde mode or whatever) it's multiplayer.

Requires resources, or brings revenue in? If anything, it looks like MP is subsidizing SP.

So getting the side-mission maps from SP and then giving them a few spawn points, plus other extras specifically for MP takes significantly more resources? Yes, probably it takes some but I wouldn't say it was really that much. And I wouldn't say it was created specifically for this 'different crowd'. I'd say it was created for ME fans who wanted to play ME with their friends or other ME fans.

Right the SAME crowd who would want to play a skyrim arena mp game
look up Spartan Ops. If Bioware did it that way I woul 100% endorse it. This way? no thanks.
they do because they require testing and a all sort of work that cannot be recycled from the SPRovay wrote...

Well, personaly I can't imagine that those things would cost as much as you're saying, but then again we don't have any exact numbers from Bioware that can prove any of us wrong. Unless you're a game developer who happened to work on such MP mode, and thus knows better than me.
Now that you're saying, Skyrym arena MP game would certainly be worth a look, if only for some laughs. But really, alot of people expressed desire to be able to play as different characters and races, even here on BSN. So at least it was made partialy for the people of 'this crowd'. Maybe the way they did it isn't particularly interesting (not to mention that stupid random shop!) but they tried.
And yeah, if they did it the Spartan Ops way, I would certainly like it a lot more (remove the random shop and I would love it). But I think we did enough off-topicing here and I unfortunately need to get up very early tomorrow so I'll bid you farewell.
I'm actually going to leave the BioWare Critic carpool lane for a second and say that just because they aren't interested in changing their ending doesn't mean all they care about is money.JohnShepard12 wrote...
My brother and my three friends all bought Mass Effect 3 and have yet to play the single player. They've heard about the lies of Bioware and refuse to become emotionally involved in something that is destined to failure. You think Bioware cares about this when they already have all our money? Nope.
They don't even have to change it to fullfill their pre-release promises. They simply need to add to it. Priority Earth and the Destroy ending, most importantly, what happened after Shepard took the breath.Nightwriter wrote...

I'd say it's just the opposite. They had a story they wanted to tell and they told it. I think they told it badly, but I support their right not to change the endings.
Yeah, and they won't. They're done. I hate it.JohnShepard12 wrote...

No doubt there are talented members of the team who care about the story and the fans but I'm afraid they aren't making the decisions or the game would never have been released in the inhumane state it was in. I"m sure there is a rift in Bioware that the smart people won't acknowledge because they like their jobs.Nightwriter wrote...

But I still don't think this means all they care about is money.
I think BioWare is so completely closed off to further disagreements that we sometimes start getting carried away with our frustrations, until we're inventing new insults that aren't precisely true. There are bound to be suits behind the ME dev process that are money-oriented, but I doubt all the writers and devs are solely driven by $$.
