With mention of vampires in DA (yes yes we know they are hunger demons), we should have more clearly defined zombie creatures. We had corpses and what not in DA2, but those didn't strike me as enough like modern zombies.

We should have terrifying flesh eaters to battle throughout our journey in DA3. Maybe even have one as a companion, so we can gain valuable insight into the conflict of living as a creature who hungers for living flesh.

We could even have a mini-game type encounter where we wake up in our camp to discover that our zombie friend has lost control over his/her urges and has already killed several members of our party, and is trying to eat our legs next.

THERE ALREADY ARE ZOMBIES.
Those infected with the taint die and become darkspawn.

Everybody read that? Everyone good? Great. Now no more vampire and zombie threads, please. Trolling is all fun and what not, but some people will reply seriously.

Also, the flesh-eating zombies would be stupid plot wise because 'one bite and you're a zombie' is hard to execute through numerous battles throughout the game. And it would be cheap to say, 'it only counts in cutscenes.' And that encounter you describe is not a mini-game. It's more an... encounter.

I couldn't help it. After it was mentioned in the most recent vampire thread I had to see how many people would take what I posted seriously.
