I don't know if I'll be able to handle Orlais.

I have never seen a better idea. Ever.Cendrigal wrote...
The only way I see this problem being solved is by having every line of dialogue in the game be voiced by Morgan Freeman.
In Spanish. I don't think anyone would expect it.

I'll just leave this here:
The one on the left looks like she had a bunch of pubes rub off on her face
Which is plausible for Isabella

Not to discriminate against French people in particular, as I've usually not had a problem with accents in the past. But it seems like previously, the vast majority of annoying or vain, superficial characters we see in the DA universe are Orlesian with terribly thick French accents.
I'd love it if only a section of the game was in Orlais, while others were in Ferelden, Tevinter and/or Rivain.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that they were aristocratic French accents, which are annoying in every language. But I'm annoyed by all vaguely posh accents which Americans seem to think we English have, (unless we have a cockney accent).

Personally I don't like the French accent (French Canadian, Parisian, any of them). I do like French though, I was one of the few students in my schools who actually enjoyed learning it (we have to it's a thing), so maybe I'll look into getting a French version of the game with English subtitles. Or maybe Bioware, if it's not to late, could have most Orlesians just speak French with subtitles and we assume the protagonist can understand them (KotOR style). There's just something about French people speaking English, or people affecting a French accent, that grates my nerves.

I'm not entirely thrilled about going to Orlais myself. I just keep picturing an entire country of Isoldes and Arlanges ugh.

*spits out drink*
That would actually be horrifying.
I can deal with pretty much all accents very well. French accent is the one i got most trouble with but it's totally doable to sit through it. I might mock the accent due to me being a bad person just because i can.
