i like that speech, it's powerful and moral. too bad it ends with 'you lose errrbody dead' Image IPB

. Unless puzzle theory pays off in the end, unlikely

PAYS would be the operative word there friend, if puzzle theory pans out, i'll be interested in how the story pans out, but disgusted by the dirty under handed tactics. i didn't buy leviathan precisely because of how integral it apparently is to the plot. main plot should be in main game.

. I didn't buy it because it was so pointless.  It adding nothing to the game

i dunno adding the original apex race, with galaxy conquering mind powers and an admitted intention to conquer the galaxy once you finish up with the ghost of McCaully Culkin adds a dark implication to destroy. and synthesis. in fact control would be more of a necessity in that case. if it wasn't so dumb and self contradictory.

exactly why i didn't buy it. far as i'm concerned the reapers were built by the reapers, who were themselves built by the reapers, who were built by the reapers/ad infinatum because or feeble minds cannot grasp the immensity of the reapers. keep it soverign that's my rule. and whenever anyone mentions some kind of le....via....thin? i just Image IPB

Pfft. Yeah right.

Throwing a hissy-fit at the microwave and letting the whole galaxy die over petty spite is without a doubt Shepard's all-time-low.

All. Time. Low.

for a foe so big and mysterious, any explanation is going to hurt the impact of  them. c.g.b. spender (x-files) and the man in black/purgatory(lost) can attest to this. they shouldn't have tried, or been sovereign levels of vague about it.
or hell set a new trend by proving me wrong and explaining the reapers in a sensible and universe friendly way that doesn't use circular logic and being 'allowed' to 'win' by general reaper. there's always marauder shields by koobismo

In the shuttle on the way to the Geth base on Rannoch.
*Legion says something*
Shepard- "How did we get here? The Geth are better than this."
^Rele Shep? Cuz I had you siding against the Geth 5 minutes ago and telling Xen that she could hack Legion up............ Makes me cringe every time.

When you talk to Vega after the rachni mission, he says, "Rachni? Of all the things to...it's like you have the opposite of a horseshoe up your ass!"

What the H*ll is the opposite of a horseshoe, and why would it be up Shepard's ass?

Maybe not a cringe-inducing line per say, but VERY annoying to my ears is the way Liara says/moans:

'' NOOO OHHH NOOOOOOOO..... PALAVEN''

Gosh she gets on my nerves.

In Mass Effect 2, when you'd set an asari Commando on fire, they'd continually scream until they died. Even then, they'd have a boring two second dieing sound. It was laughably boring sounding.

A black cat, or a broken mirror? Shep's very unlucky or Project Lazarus has some weird ideas on how to bring Shep back.

. Horseshoes are supposed to be lucky.  Shepard is definitely not lucky

During Samara's recruitment mission in ME2, when you find the lone Eclipse merc:

"Screw that, bastard! And screw you!"

Delivery made me cringe.

First stupid line uttered in the game has to be

“Stop them? This isn’t about strategy or tactics, this is about survival”

Image IPB

What the...what??? Every time I replay this game that line gets more and more ridiculous. Little did I realize when I first heard it that it was only to be the first of many derps down the road.

Of course the prize for the most game breaking, idiotic and cringe-worthy dialogue has to go to everything uttered by the catalyst (and shepard’s responses to the catalyst) That really doesn’t need to be said. People have already mentioned "I was born in London" and "STEEEEEEEEVE! You ok?" So here's some honourable mentions that most won’t ever hear in their games because they are romance exclusives.

The first mention is Jacob and Femshep’s dialogue if you romanced him in ME2

ME2 Jacob: We've got a good thing going here, something I'd like to see through. I hope you feel the same

ME3 Jacob: Come on shepard, did you expect me to wait forever?

Image IPB

Well yeah Jacob since every other single love interest managed to. Not only did he cheat on shepard with another woman but he knocked her up too and now they’re going to name the baby shepard...just...arghh. ME2 Jacob had one defining feature about him and that was , despite his unpopularity, he was at the very least an upstanding man. Everybody in ME2 who was asked thought so, even shepard herself described him as such. ME3’s potrayal of a romanced Jacob was just an awful case of character assassination and the dialogue is just appalling.

Speaking of assassinating characters! Second mention goes to Thane’s romance dialogue!

ME2 Thane: I’m...ashamed...(while crying) I consider my body’s death and a chill settles in my gut. I’m afraid and it shames me

ME3 Thane: It’s freeing to find no requirements placed on me, no responsibilities, no fears, it’s good to end a life

 Image IPB

Uh Thane , did you hit your head on something because you seemed to have forgotten all your character development! No fears? No responsibilities? Uh,WHAT? Not only is a romanced Thane just fine and dandy with the dying thing again  but it seems both he and shepard forgot they were together! I mean they must have since there’s BARELY any difference between  romanced and un-romanced dialogue during his fight and death.  Nice emotion there shepard, you totally acted like the love of your life just died on you, oh wait no you didn't Image IPB. But just when I thought I couldn't face palm harder

(After walking away from Thane's death bed)

Garrus: Hell of day, udina loses his mind, the citadel almost falls and you nearly had to put down a friend

And Thane died

Garrus: Still, I’m glad ash didn’t have to join kaidan. losing one was enough

But we did lose someone, THANE DIED

Later, Garrus sends shep this message

 Image IPB

Garrus I swear dude...

This dialogue is great example of bad writing in ME3:
- This is it, isn't it?
- Yeah... This is it.

Or:
- Does this unit have a soul?
- Yes... Yes, it does.

Seriously? After eargasm delivered by ME1-2? Bioware, I'm dissappoint.

Here's one I don't think I've seen anyone mention from ME1.

Ash: "I can't believe the Council ignored all the evidence against Saren."

Huh? What evidence? As the Salarian councilor points out, the testimony of one single person is hardly proof. Especially if you went through the renegade/paragon options and found out the guy is a smuggler. So she really believed that the Council was going to take the word of a criminal over the word of their best Spectre? Really?

Sorry if it's already been mentioned. Remember a bartender in Presidium bar in ME1 (the one where Nassana Dantius is sitting)?

Bartender: "Hello Commander, can I get you something?

Shepard: "What have you got?"

Bartender: "Information mostly. Would you like to know about some points of interest nearby?"

*Ummm... I was kinda hoping for... I don't know, a drink maybe?  :D
