I'm surprised not many people have mentioned "My sweeeeet..." yet!

Also, not exactly dialogue, but the entire first exchange between Liara and Shep in ME2 is funny just because of the number of times Liara gets up, randomly looks out the window, and sits back down. That chair must have been very uncomfortable.

It's not unfortunate in the least. If putting personal spite over finding a solution and saving the galaxy is just "Shep being Shep" then he/she deserves to hit rock-bottom and hit it hard.

AS much as I hate synthesis, I have to agree with HYR on this one. Every solution presented by Catalyst is better than letting everyone die. To be honest I'm not sure any real man would leave all emotions behind for some weird morals just like that and forget about all s/he cared for.

As for cringe inducing.. hmm.. Prologue&London was repeated many times... so what else..

Liara's romance dialouge on Citadel. 'It's good to spend some time together(or whatever)...just friends'.

I mean wtf? just friends? I banged her at least two-times and the line suggests that they'd not bang at all during whole of ME3. I mean...whoah.... Just like they didn't make Liara annoy me enough in ME3.

I don't know if it's already been mentioned but..."I won't let fear compromise who I am." It's really annoying that Shepard doesn't give practical reasons for destroying the base. This bothers me way more than any auto-dialogue in ME3.

There are definitely some cringe worthy lines when talking to Morinth.

And of course, some romance lines (Jacob's "the prize" or Tali's "dashing commander" line)

well the other options don't really have good shepard (whatever kind of shep you have) dialogue. so in order to get shepard to give the boss of the reapers a good talking down to, you gotta let the universe die.
the dialogue for the other options is pretty timid.
control: shep; "i didn't come this far to give up everything i have," no dude, you didn't come this far to become a reaper.
destroy: shep; "i don't believe you"
              catalyst;"your belief is not required"
god damn shep just got slapped down by the end-game boss.
synthesis: catalyst; "synthesis does a bunch of magic (paraphrased)"
"how is that possible"
"pffft there's little time for some reason and you wouldn't understand anyway so lets just say.......oh i don't know moe (or vague refrences to "essences" and "matrices" or whatever **** you)"

so i do think it's unfortunate that standing up to a genocidal monster results in your own genocide. if only refuse let you order a tactical strike on the crucible and citadel, destroying earth, shep, a large chunk of sword, but also the reapers! heavy cost............ but the priiiiiiiize!
but since it's basically galactic suicide i gotta pick destroy. personal preferance of course.

earth is not one settlement, its the origin planet of the human species. shepard is largely regarded as humanitys champion

the bulk of the invasion is  on earth basically because shepard has pissed off the reapers on three crucial occasion (citadel, collector base, alpha relay) 

anderson was left behind,  or does your shepard not care about him either

earth is not treated special its the last planet to recive any aid and thats only because the citadel was moved into earth
