She ducked. So the explosion wasn't fatal.

I actually thought she did. She falls back after the last shot. Not sure if that's before or after the explosion.

man that would have to be one upward oriented explosion. don't those things move radially? and is shep still on the citadel in the breath scene or?

That initial explosion didn't cause all that rubble. It was after the Crucible fired all its energy to the Charon relay.

so shep survived MORE explosions? praise space jesus and his plot invincibility! (because god knows on insanity three bullets'll do him)

They already did. Exactly with the breathe scene. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE knows this scene is "Shep survived!" and that this was Bioware's intention, leaving up the question what exactly he will do after that up to everyone's preffered headcanon (retirement with LI or maybe further service with the Alliance, or maybe becoming a pron star etc). Do we seriously need to go, again, though file names, script notes from leaked beta and how this scene is constructed along with "LI doesn't put Shep's nameplate on the Memorial Wall" scene to know what the intention was? I don't headcanon so i feel i wasted my money on the CE when i could have just as easily headcanon the entire ME3 game itself.

And you could have had Blackjack and Hookers in your version.

You do, everyone does. Or do you complain that movie directors/comic book/novel authors and game developers don't show you every single day of the pratagonist's life post-credits till his/her death so you don't have to headcanon that everything indeed went fine after the ending?

i believed in IT once, it was a comforting re-assuring time, but underneath my smiling optimistic veneer lay the truth i knew, but could not accept. what i was seeing had actually been written by functioning, professional adults as the ending to a story, no joke, no troll, no lol here's the real ending thanks for waiting while we saved up the money from sales and micro transactions to do it right cause chobot's chobit's took up the whole budget. just what was on screen.
but then i learned to stop worrying and love the comedy of it.
