Human Soldier now OP?

One of the great things about this new challenge system is that it has gotten me to try new weapons that I might not have before. Like the Falcon. I know I know, not a new reveation for most, but for me, it was. And, unsurprisingly, the changes to the Acolyte have been a godsend for this build.
So, it's basically the same build, with the only changes being to the choices in Concussive Shot and Frag Grenades.
The reason it might be "OP" in my opinion, is that I am a supremely average player, and I have been CONSITENTLY topping the scoreboard in both the PUG matches I've played and the private matches with friends I've played. Now, the former is probably a "grain of salt" kind of deal, since most around here regard PUG's in low, eh, regard, but, whatevs. My point is that this HAS to be a decent build if THIS GUY (me) can score tops with it.
Concussive Shot: 4a, 5b (so you don't have to always rely on having Cryo ammo or a Cryo guy with you), 6b
Frag Grenades: 4a, 5b, 6a
Passive: Power Damage/Capacity, Power Damage, Reduced Weapons Weight (I forget what it's called and I just got disconnected from the EA servers shocking I know)
Fitness: Maxed for health and shield recharge
Okay, so, the weapons and gear.
Gear: Grenade Capacity V
Weapons: Falcon X, Acolyte X
This build and loadout is what I call the 3/4 build. That is, it's OP against 3/4 of the enemies. Why? Because of the damage to organics that you can do with Concussive Shot and Frag Grenades. This build MELTS (as people say around here) Reapers and Collectors (and obviously Cerberus, them being organics and all). Concussive Shot gets a 200 percent damage to organics for 10 seconds evolution, and the Frag Grenade bleed evolution, plus the Armor Damage for the big guys, lets you tear through everything they have.
The Falcon lets you control spawns if you have the opportunity, and the Acolyte lets you strip barriers and shields with impunity. In the later waves I tend to use the Acolyte, as everything seems to have shields or barriers, but the Falcon is just too useful to discard. With both equipped I have 195 percent cooldown, so why not?
Oh, and the mods I have on the weapons are capacity and damage for both.
The other version swaps 4a on CS for 4b (since the Geth tend to cluster and rush in groups, at least, to me) 5b for 5a (so you must use your Cryo Ammo for this) and 6b for 6a (again to help with clustes of Bombers and Hunters Pyros etc)
So, try it out! I think you'll be pleased. If it can work for a mediocre player like myself, it HAS to be good. Enjoy! And good luck out there.

I enjoy that you felt the need to reply to my most to simply boost your laughable thread. Get over the truth.

Adrenaline rush simply offers too many positives to give it up in light of a power as mediocre as Concussive Shot, imho.

You should try a combo of the following:
6/4/4/6/6 = for a jack of all trades. Use a PPR and what things melt.
6/5/4/5/6 (6/6/3/5/6) = if you want to shoot CS while AR is active
6/3/6/5/6 = if you're more of a bomber.
That class if very malleable.

It's totaly viable. I played a lot with the build like that in the demo. Works like charm. Concusion shot has never been a bad power, people just overlook it. Fools be those who think it is bad.

I'm surprised you don't mention incendiary ammo, if this is a CS build.
I always run mine with distruptor. Tech Bursts, mmm... But yeah, fire explosions now!

The human male soldier is the traditional AR with a big gun and smashing face.

I find the visual effect gives me a headache, which is a shame as on paper it is an awesome power.
"Your build is essentially useless outside of bronze."
Incorrect, my HFS is my go to for Gold Pugs if I am feeling tired or not playing that well, and know that I can contribute a lot of damage as a team mate. Regularly top two in Gold Pugs with her.
Used the points to tank her health and shields.
Grenade V, Harrier and CS combo makes for devastating results.
If you cannot play the Human Soldier without AR outside of Bronze then thats you not the class thats at fault.

1) Raider shotgun offhost -> Fire 3 shots, AR and then fire 3 more
2) Striker AR -> Ramp up the gun and then when you nearly run out of ammo, AR to blast all the things
You have 2 (3)? Human soldiers basically so it's not like you really need a respec.

I recently topped the scoreboard of a Gold PUG filled with Piranha GIs and Destroyers using a Geth Engineer with an Arc Pistol.
I'm not on the forum claiming that the Arc Pistol is the optimal weapon choice for the Geth Engineer, if anything it's a testament to how bad PUGs are on average. Any weapon/build/class can be used on the higher difficulties, but your build is not going to compete with a competent player running a build with Adrenaline Rush.

But I am not trying to compete, I am trying to contribute as a team player to the goal of getting to extraction. If my HFS is in the top two then I have made a good contribution to the teams goal. I have killed a lot of enemies, had fun and not got a headache using one of my favourite builds.
There are always going to be better players than me anyway, I am not a great Gold player, I am a competent Gold player, I do my fair share of the work.
Rather than not use the class at all because the the main power gives me a headache I have found a build that works for me and still contributes to the team.
