Stim packs are like free ops survival packs. On demand sheild boost (I don't care about the damage boost).

Well you either go through all of your thermal clip packs, or grief the hell out of grenade spammers if you have a preferance for taking fire to the face.
If you think about it, it's just another ops survival pack without being an Ops survival pack. If the stimpack magically disapeared, I'd use the Ops packs and accomplish more or less the same thing.

This is more then you can legitimately obtain on any character, past your already high max shields (You could have 2000 sheilds if you so choose.)

That does sound like something that'll actually happen. I don't know how I would react if grenade capacity gear stopped giving extra stimpacks as their idea of a nerf though. Would suck pretty hard.

That would require a patch.
The worst thing they could do is touch the duration, however......
That would be unessecaraly cruel.
Like, Starting smoking to make it so you could ash out the ciggarettes on a poodle.

omg yeah can any head survive a stim pack boosted, Tactical cloaked Saber shot?...... umm no or the other 10 seconds u have outside of cloak... this guy is my Saber's best friend

Not really.
He can only restore his own shields, he cannot spawn a drone to distract enemies, he cannot see through walls, he does not have a projectile power... (trivializes Phantoms and to a lesser extent, Banshees)
The two classes play very differently.
